It was the next day, and I was excused from school today, due to the fact that I had training. And I wasn't about to pass up the chance to become a Dragon Ranger. Plus, it's a great after school job to go to everyday. I quickly put on my uniform, ran down the stairs, and ran out the door.

I'm going to be so late!

Then, I heard a loud roar above me. I looked up and saw Venus. She gave a playful growl.

"Need a lift?"

"Definitely." I replied.

Venus flew behind me and then she picked up the pace. I jumped up, and landed on her back.

"Dragon Ranger HQ, Venus." I said.

She nodded, and flew to HQ. Venus landed on the landing dock, and I got off. I looked back at her and smiled.

"Thanks for the ride, Venus." I said.

Venus let out a loud roar.

"Anytime Giselle!"

She looked up at the sky, and took off. I watched her go and sighed with content. I turned on my heel and walked in the HQ in search of Silas. I checked in the conference room, and saw that he was in a meeting. I tried to walk out, but Silas saw me and called me out.

"Giselle. Perfect timing. Please, have a seat." Silas said, gesturing me to sit.

I sat down across from him and looked around me. To the sides of me were the Dragon Rangers I went with on last week's missions.

"We were just talking about you." Silas said.

With Silas, that "we were just talking about you" thing can go two different ways: it could be something good, or something bad.

"The group and I were debating on whether we should send you on today's missions on your own or not," Silas said, resting his chin on his fingers.

"We all were saying yes, but your brother still has not decided the final conclusion, even though HE has the final say." Valerie said.

"Actually, GISELLE has the final say. These are her last missions before she becomes one of us after all. So, Giselle... what do you say? You want to go on these missions solo?"

I just stared at them.

I didn't know they were discussing about that.

I was lost for words, but what I said just came out on its own.

"I promise I won't let you down." I said firmly.

The group smiled and nodded.

"So what are today's missions?" I asked.

"A Siren Depth, a Blinding Rays, a Hurricane, a Raging Winds-" Elias began.

"And possibly a Corrin Atlas." Silas said.

"A Corrin Atlas?"

Then, a flashback of the dragon I saw yesterday ran across my eyes.

"What did these dragons do?" I asked.

"The Siren Depth is confusing its fellow Water dragons, and causing them to fight each other," Malachi said.

"Why?"

"Don't know."

"The Blinding Rays is blinding other dragons for whatever reason." Rachel said.

"The Hurricane and Raging Winds are causing hurricanes and tornadoes in Eastern Elaria, near Soren." Bruce said.
