Ten years later...

"Lea bakit ka late? Hindi mo ba alam na ngayon ang presentation mo?" Pagpasok ko pa lang ng office, satsat na ang abot ko kay Poppy. Palibhasa siya, malapit lang ang bahay niya dito.

"Traffic sa EDSA." Sabi ko at nagtungo sa desk ko. Sumunod naman siya sa akin and she kept on babbling about me being always late, whatever.

"Bakit ka pa kasi sa EDSA dumaan? Madaming paraan..."

Blah blah blah. Nakakaumay na ang mga sinasabi niya. Paulit ulit, never ending! It's always been the same and she doesn't understand how difficult it is to travel.

"Noted Poppy pero please let me prepare for my presentation okay?" I said calmly pero deep inside naiinis na ako. Masama pa naman ang gising ko tapos dagdagan pa niya, nako nagtitimpi lang ako.

"Okay okay ayusin mo yan ha!" She said and finally left me alone. Mabuti naman! I have some peace.

Nagthumbs up lang ako sa kanya at binuksan ang laptop ko. While waiting, I looked at the busy streets of Makati from here. I can't believe I'm here right now, working on one of the country's top agency.

Isn't that cool?

Naiinggit ang mga kaklase ko sa akin because I get to meet celebrities and work with them, which is their dream job.

Right?

I'm 24 years old already and I've started to be independent from my parents. I'm living my own life now and it's exciting! I get to make my own decisions in life but sometimes I call my parents for their advice. Adulting is hard but it's fun at the same time.

Tinapos ko lang ang mga slides before I went to the conference room and present to the head. It's about our new project and after an hour or two, natapos na rin ang meeting.

"Ano? Kamusta?" Tanong ni Poppy paglabas ko ng room. Tinapik ko ang balikat niya at tinignan siya sa mata.

"I have to revise. Sa next month pa ako magprepresent ulit." I said and left her hanging. Dumeretso ako sa desk ko at umupo sa swivel chair.

Nakakapagod na, pinagpuyatan ko ang report na to pero irerevise ko na naman siya ulit.

I need some air. Pinaghandaan ko talaga ito but now they asked for an another revision, pagod na ako.

Tumayo ako at hinablot ang bag ko. Tatayo sana si Poppy pero inunahan ko siya.

"Babalik ako." Sabi ko at lumabas sa office. God!!! Ang sama ng loob ko ngayon. I mean, ano pa ang ipaparevise sa akin? It was already perfect but still- DAMN IT!!

Nagdrive ako papuntang Rockwell para kumalma ako. I am different when I'm not in the mood, napansin ko yan sa sarili ko.

I need to chill, like really.

Pagpasok ko ng Power Plant, nakita ko ang isang napakafamiliar na mukha. Nakita niya rin ako at nagdadalawang isip pa siya kung ako ba or hindi.

OMG. No way.

"Lea!" Nilapitan niya ako at nagbeso kaming dalawa. I haven't seen her since last year!

"Camille! Omg nice to see you!" Bati ko sa batchmate ko noon sa high school. Umiba ang itsura niya, lalo siyang tumaba but she's pretty! She was one of the campus crushes noon sa school and I think some of our seniors and juniors are still hitting on her pero ayaw niya sa mga yun.

"Nice to see you Lea! Ganda mo pa din talaga girl! Coffee? Catch up tayo!!" Sabi niya at niyugyog ako. Why not? I mean I could have someone to talk to! I smiled and nodded my head.
