I followed Toni until I could follow the scent by myself. We found more purple dust and lost the trail. This didn't mean we stopped looking. Fury followed Toni and I went off in a different direction. Eventually I picked up on the smell of blood and followed it. I was panting heavily and my legs hurt from running but I had to find Hero. "Those stupid endermen!" I mentally screamed still tracking the scent. I heard a scream and fear made me run faster.
I tripped on a rock and tumbled down a hill. Only three hearts were loss but I needed all the health I could manage because I know they aren't going to give him up nicely. I heard another scream and I sounded closer than the other one. I gripped my axe in one hand an ran blindly deeper in the forest. My tail swished side to side as I ran, my ears flatted from the wind. I made it to a cliff and thought of a very bright idea. There was a lake under the cliff. "Wonder how deep it is." I asked myself, "Only one way to find out." I jumped off the cliff.
The water blasted in my face. I plunged into the water that was only three meters deep. Luckily any drop into two meter water is survivable. I swam out and looked around. A trail of blood led deeper into the forest. I switch my axe into the other hand and leapt into a tree. From the tree I finally reached the end of the blood trail.
Hero was surrounded by endermen like the first time we found him but this time he was tied above a portal. I opened my inventory to look of a bow... that I didn't grab. "Well crap" I cursed to myself as I thought of a better way to deal with this. I was by myself on this. Fury and Toni were miles away. I sighed and leapt off the tree.
My axe chopped off the head of an endermen. Suddenly all attention was on me. "For someone who doesn't like to be stared at the sure do stare a lot." I though. I kept looking down, I know how endermen work now. Don't look and they don't see. I walked over to Hero. Looking up at his blood filled face made me cringe slightly. I flashed him a smile and turn towards the endermen. Creepers. skeletons, and zombies stud behind the endermen as backup. I rushed at a zombie only to change directions and kill an endermen. Attacking an endermen directly won't work I need to get them by surprise. I hid behind an endermen to doge and arrow. The arrow hit the endermen instead and the monsters turned on each other.
All the endermen were attacking the other monsters now. The zombies started to run but were caught in the crossfire. I turned back to Hero and smiled. He didn't say a word most likely to weak to talk right now but I could tell he was impressed. I hit the chains that held him to the portal once, the attack didn't even damage it. Switching my attention to the portal I kicked over one of the frames deactivation it. I looked at Hero again and the blood that was on him. I whimpered slightly and tried to brake the chains again.
Again my axe did nothing. Growling in frustration I threw the axe to the ground. Extending my nails into claws I angerly clawed at the chains. This time they broke and Hero was free. I howled victoriously and tried my best to carry Hero. It ended up being more of dragging him but it worked. I carried him back to the lake I found before and put him in the water. He was safe so I left to furiously punch some grass for seeds. Any lingering skeleton died by my hand for bones. "Thirteen seeds, seven bones. Good enough." I decided going back to the lake.
Hero didn't move form where I put him so I checked his arm for heath. "Poor thing only half a heart." I whispered. I punched a tree for wood and manage to make a small farm. Planting the seeds and insta growing it with bone mill I ended up with eight pieces of wheat. "I can make two loafs of bread." I told Hero even though he wasn't listening. Making the bread I fed it to Hero who unwillingly ate it. I howled again this time louder and longer. "Dont worry Fury's going." I told Hero reassuringly. Still he didn't move so I went to make more wheat for bread. I only had four hearts but Hero need healing more than I did.
The rest of the time waiting for Fury was just farming. Herobrine was able to more but he still didn't talk. He stayed in the water and avoided looking at me unless I had food. "Are you guys okay!" I heard Fury yell. We both turned to face him and nodded. Toni jumped in the water and swam to Hero. "Thank Notch you're okay!" He barked licking Hero's wounds. Hero tried to push him off but didn't win.
I laid on my back exhausted. "Hero why do the endermen want you anyway?" I ask looking up at the sky. Not once in the many months he's been with us have I asked this. I never had a reason too. I mean, I hate endermen but they don't attack me unless I provoke them. "They want me dead." He answered as blankly as ever. Indi and I looked at each other. "Well no shit sherlock!" we both yelled at him. "She knows I can die now so they want me dead." He explained a bit more thoroughly but still blankly. "Who's she?" I asked. "Who else." he asked like the answer was crystal clear. The answer was clear but we were just idiots so we didn't see it.
"The Ender Dragon." He explained again seeing out puzzled expressions. Reality hit us and we both felt dumb. "Welp a little grinding and mob farming and we can take her out easily!" Fury boasted with a smirk. I nodded in approval. "Yea have fun with that." Hero said bored petting Toni. "I'm sleepy" Toni yawned. "Me too." I agreed. Without another word Hero got out of the water and started walking in a random direction. Toni and I sniff the air to find home. Turns out he's going in the right direction. I shrug it off and followed him.
I kept my axe with me just in case any mob comes out. Toni scared off the skeletons while we walked. Some zombies tried to attack us but met their end with my axe. Overall the walk was quiet. Too quiet. Way too quiet. Hero also notice this and tensed up but didn't stop walking. Instead he took off running and we did the same. A quiet forest is a dangerous forest. It was about morning when we stopped running. I shared the last of the bread with everyone and the rest of the trip was walking.
Howdy peeps I know its been forever sense I worked on this but I had an idea and ran with it stopped for a brake and picked it back up. By left for a brake I mean I forgot I was writing this and was like welp I tried. Hope you enjoyed this chapter.
