Jonah's POV

It is one in the morning, I am asleep soundly.
At night I always listen closely, I have to protect my pack. All of a sudden I hear shuffling, it's Archer. I wonder why she's up and then hear her go down the steps and walk to the kitchen. Now I'm straining to hear her. Then I hear glass shatter. I immediately sit up and sprint out of my room. I'm met with the rest of the boys and we run down the stairs slyly to see.
Archer's POV
I realized that I had stayed up a bit too late and decided to go downstairs to get some water. I debate about going down in just my tank top and shorts but I don't think any of the guys are downstairs this late. When I finish pouring myself a glass, I am startled by a voice behind me.
"You think you could get away that easily, you little slut?" I drop my glass in fear and spin around. I never thought I would hear that voice again, the voice of my low life father.
"Get. Out." I snarl, surprising myself.
"Oh no, no." He says making a ticking noise. "I'm here to bring you home, slut." He spits. This makes me angry. I ball my fists and suddenly feel an urge of power.
"You kicked me out!" I yell, throwing my hands up and he goes flying into the wall. My eyes widen and I pull my hands down quickly.
What. Just. Happened?
All of a sudden, I hear gasps. I turn to look behind me and I find the boys staying in awe- or in fear.
"I-what happened?" I stutter. I swallowed the lump in my throat and hope the boys don't hate me. My heart is beating the longer they stare at me. My attention is pulled from them when a hear my father speak.
"You little slut!" I take a deep breath and ignore him. I look up at the boys and see Jonah's eyes, they are bright red. He isn't look at me, he glares at my father in what I can only describe as pure hatred. I hear my dad get up and before I can turn, Jonah growls. I gasp and I almost feel drawn to him. I then hear Jonah's voice.
"Archer? Can you hear me?" I look at him and nod. "Good. Walk to me slowly." I can feel my heart beat even faster when I realize his mouth didn't move.
'Are you in my head?' I think.
"Yes." I gasp again and now he turns to glare at me. "Archer! Walk. To. Me." Jonah says more urgently and I don't think twice before walking to him. I was scared. I reach Jonah he grabs my waist tightly, pulling me behind him.
I hear my dad laugh.
"So this is your bedroom boy?" He chuckles. I growl instinctively then cover my mouth. "Ooooo scary growls. What are you a dog?" My dad says sarcastically. I look straight into his eyes and he falls to the ground screaming. I look at Jonah in worry and he stops screaming.
Why is this happening?
"Daaang, she's powerful!" Zach exclaims causing Jonah to reach around me and wack him. I look at him in confusion.
"GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!" Jonah yelled, making the boys whimper. What even-
My dad laughs and stands up.
"Fine! Freaks!" He exclaims and walks out. I look up at Jonah and find myself shaking. He just holds me tighter. He lifts me up and sets me on the couch. I feel drained.
"Let's talk..."
