Zack sat Naruto down against the wall, " Are you sure he'll be okay here alone, Ray? " he asked Rachel as they had gotten off the elevator. " Zack, we can't take him with us. We can't risk him getting hurt. " Rachel explained. " I know but, is it safe to leave him here? " Zack asked worriedly.  " He should be okay. "  Rachel responded as she began to walk away. Zack frowned but, followed her nonetheless. 

When they got to the stand that had the bible sitting on it. When Rachel finished reading something out of the bible she looked at the door and saw a paper. " What is thy name? " Rachel read aloud. She sighed, " Rachel Gardner. " she said and then door opened. Zack started to get a little impatient. 

Zack stood there and watched as Rachel and Gray talked, " I see so, I understand that Naruto is injured, am I correct, Zack? " Gray asked as he turned to Zack. " Yeah. I would also love it if you guys would wrap up the talking so we can get something to help him. " Zack said impatience clearly showing in his voice. Gray nodded, " Now, Rachel Gardner, you will have to go through a few tests before you can successfully get the medicine for Naruto. " Gray explained. " As long as I can get the medicine then I'll be fine. " Rachel said her voice holding some worry. 

Naruto opened his eyes and looked around, " Where am I? " he asked out loud. He looked down the hallway. He stood up and held the wound on his stomach. He tried walking but he only ended up falling back down. " I have to- " he began to say but he ended up passing out. 

Naruto woke up again not too long after and looked up to see Danny. Naruto looked at him with a bored look in his eyes. " Both you and Rachel have remarkable eyes. " Danny says as he grins. " Leave me alone. " Naruto said not happy. " I think I'll be taking something with me before I leave. " Danny says as a smirk makes it's way on his face. 

Zack led the two to the direction of the down elevator. When they got there they saw Naruto looking down. " Naruto! " Zack yelled worriedly. He ran over to him, so did Rachel. Zack tried to make Naruto look at him. Naruto moved his head away from Zack, " Don't look at me. " he said with a depressed tone. " Naruto look at me. " Zack said worriedly. " I can't. " Naruto said as Zack soon realized blood was dripping from his face. " Why? What happened? " he asked getting a little more frantic. Naruto looked up at Zack with empty eye sockets. " Because I can't see you. " he said then closed his eyes. 

Zack looked at Naruto surprised. " Who did this? " he asked trying to hide his anger. " Danny. " Zack picked Naruto up. " Zack we can't- " Rachel was cut off by Zack. " I don't care. I'm not leaving him alone again. " Zack growled. 

Naruto's breathing soon started to become shallow. They had just arrived on Danny's floor. " Is there anything in there, Ray? " Zack asked. " No. I think Danny took everything. " Rachel said as she turned around and looked at Naruto, who had started to slowly become pale. 

Zack looked down at Naruto, " Hang in there, Naruto. You're strong, I know you are. I've experienced that first hand. " Zack said to the smaller male in his arms. " I swear when I find Danny he'll regret ever touching you. " Zack promised as he and Ray returned to Gray. " The medicine wasn't there. " Rachel said. " Seems like Doctor Danny had taken it all then. " Gray said in disappointment. 

Zack growled but stopped when he heard a weak voice, " Sen...pai? " Naruto asked as he reached up and touched Zack's face. The one thing that made Zack cry, something he hadn't done in years, was the smile on Naruto's face. " It'll be okay. Everything is going to be okay. " Naruto said trying to reassure Zack. 

Tears fell from Zack's eyes, " No, it won't be okay. How can you say it'll be okay when you're so close to death? " Zack asked him. " It doesn't hurt. I...hoped that....someday...I could've showed you...how much...I really...love you... " Naruto said with a small smile. His eyelids fluttered shut but, his breathing continued. It was still shallow though. 

Rachel then, for once this entire time, gained an emotion on her face. Determination. (A/n: Please don't....) Rachel then led them all to a different elevator. The down elevator. " Ray what are we doing going down to my and Naruto's floor? " Zack asked her. " There should be bandages down there considering you both have bandages on. They should help with the blood for the time being just until we can get the medicine from Danny. " Rachel explained. Zack nodded, the rest of the way down was silent. 

The doors opened and Zack led them to a room. He turned around, " Um, could you guys stay here please? " he asked. " Why can't we come in? " Rachel asked. " I just don't want you to see the mess. " Zack said, his tone said he was hiding something. Gray noticed it but nodded nonetheless. " We will stay out here while you go and get what you need. " he said. Zack nodded and entered the room. He closed the door behind him. 

Walking around he looked for the bandages. Once he found them in the drawer he set Naruto down and began to wrap his wound. He then also wrapped bandages around his eyes. 

When Zack walked out of the room Gray and Rachel were talking. " Oh, you're back I see. " Gray said as he turned to look at Zack. Zack nodded and then followed them as they walked to another elevator. 

Later That Night

Zack watched as Danny was shot down before Rachel was shot. When Danny pulled the trigger the shot hit the floor. Rachel looked up and saw Gray. He held a crossbow. He nodded in their direction. " Get going. " he said and then focused his attention on Danny. 

Rachel and Zack walked to the door and left the building. They heard voices and then heard orders being yelled. There were ANBU looking at Zack they readied their weapons, " Put the person you're holding down and move away from the girl. " one of them said. Zack hesitantly set Naruto down and walked down the stairs. They had then taken him to the hokage. 

When Naruto woke up he couldn't see but, he automatically knew Zack wasn't with him. " Where is he? " he asked, knowing that Tsunade was there. " Who? " Tsunade asked confused. 

" Where's Zack? "
