A shrilled shriek filled the air. The dragon quickly moved his tail to the females mouth, muffling it. He watched as water formed in the crests of her emerald eyes. Being a curious creature, the dragon wanted to know of this new species.
"Everyday," he spoke winging it, "you will meet me here and answer three questions. You will come alone. If you bring along others or refuse to answer my questions, everyone you love will betray then abandon you. I curse you."
The girl's eyes widened. Her heart beat quickened and her breath quivered. The tears building up in her eyes were finally set free. The dragon released the girl and watched as she ran away.
