The next day we all slept in. Late. The four of us had a few more days off from school left, so we were going to enjoy it. Rykie and Sami sauntered into their room a little earlier than us. Rami and I had stayed up to watch The Godfather of all things, in the theatre. When that was over, we both looked at each other and knew it was time for some sleep.

Now it was morning. The strong sunlight pushing its way through the bedroom curtains, burrowing its way into my eyelids. I rolled over onto my side, away from the light and yawned strongly into my hand. Rami stirred behind me and pulled me close to his chest. We snuggled deeper into the sheets and I fell back asleep. What felt like minutes later, I awoke again. I checked the clock on my phone to see it was actually an hour later. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. "Are you up?" I asked Rami. He moaned. "Nooo." And rolled back over on to his other side, away from me. I shoved him. "Get up! I'm hungry." I whined. "Ahhh. OK. OK." He sat up now too. He yawned loudly and ran his fingers through his unruly mess of curls. I poked him in the ribs and he jumped back. "Stop that!" He said putting me in a soft head lock. "Not my hair." I yelped. "You're pulling it!" Rami let go. "I'm sorry, babe." He got up from bed. He was naked. "Oooh." I let out a little whistle. "What?" He asked, before looking down. "Oh." He said, a wicked grin plastered on his face. "Did you want sausage for breakfast?" He teased. I choked on my own saliva. Before I could answer, there was a knock on the door. Rami dove for his pajama bottoms and I quickly covered myself up with the bed sheets. "Yes?" I yelled out.

The bedroom door slid open then and revealed Rykie and Sami both standing in the door frame. "We're headed down to start breakfast. Just wanted to see if you were up to join us." Rykie said. I nodded. "Sure, be down in a sec." Rami said as he swiftly threw a t-shirt on over his head. Rykie and Sami left, closing the door behind them. Rami turned to me then and said, "We can revisit that sausage option later?" He sent an exaggerated wink my way. I completely lost it then and started laughing loudly.

I got up from the bed, still laughing. I reached for an oversized white t shirt and my black leggings and threw them on. "Come on, sexy." I said to Rami as I held out my hand in his direction. He bit his bottom lip before reaching for my hand. Before we left the bedroom he placed my hand on his pants. "So that sausage... there, can you feel it? ... it still wants you." He winked at me again. I bit my own lip. "How quick can you eat?" I asked him in a flurry. "Pretty damn fast!" He said. I giggled and we both raced down the stairs to the kitchen.

Rykie was standing at the stove making french toast. "Do you like eggs?" She asked us both, once we had entered into the room. "Sure?" I said shrugging my shoulders and looking at Rami. "Could use the energy boost." He answered before shooting me a sly smile. "On it." Rykie said. Sami was by the fridge pulling out the carton of eggs, some cheese, spinach and tomato. "What does everyone want to drink? I can help with that?" I offered. Sami pointed in the direction of the coffee pot with his chin. "Coffee, for Sami. And Rykie?" I asked my friend. "I'll have the same." She answered, still keeping an eye on the stove. I started the coffee machine and grounded some coffee beans. "Rami what do you want?" I asked him over my shoulder. "I'll have whatever you're having." He said. "Green tea?" I asked. "Sure." He nodded. I started on the tea kettle next.

Soon, the four of us were all sitting together dining on our beautiful brunch. French toast, eggs, fresh fruit and veggies. Talking and laughing amongst ourselves. Freddie and Alexander waltzed in shortly afterwards. They saw us dining. "May we have some of this fresh fruit?" Freddie inquired. "Of course! Help yourselves. Take those bowls over there." Rykie instructed with a pointed finger. "Thank you, darling!" Freddie said. "Oh, there's also yogurt in the fridge and some granola in the pantry, if you like." Rykie quickly added. Alexander nodded and went to get the yogurt and some granola for them. Then just as quickly as they had appeared, they left the room. "We're going to get a little sun." Freddie shouted over his shoulder with a little wave.

We finished our food and helped clean up after ourselves. Sami took over and said he would put everything into the dishwasher. "Are you sure? You don't need any help?" Rami asked his brother hurriedly. "I got it. Go on, get out of here. I know you want to go role play." He teased his brother. Triggered, Rami grabbed my hand and led me quickly back up the stairs.

Rykie stayed in the kitchen with Sami. While he rinsed dishes she wiped down the kitchen counters. I shot Rykie a quick smile over my shoulder before heading back up with Rami. She smiled back at me knowingly.
