Shocked

I've found a reason

A reason to be a writer:

To touch people's lives

And allow them to imagine better worlds.

Although I feel down about my writing

Like I'm the least likely person to succeed,

I will push through

And not cower away from a challenge.

I can't thank you all enough

For reading my works

And I truly am shocked

At the number you come.

I hope I am making a difference

In someone's life

Somewhere.

That's the whole reason I do this.

That's the reason I'm here.
