I looked in his eyes as tears pooled mine.
"I really thought I knew you." I said as I wiped a tear rolling down my cheeks.
This is it, what I feared most is unfolding.
Our ending.
His hands formed a fist as he watched me cry.
I breathed in, trying to stop the tears from falling and turned around.
"I never really did like to see you cry." He said as I heard footsteps coming towards me.
His hand landed on my shoulder and turned me around, setting his hands on my cheeks, he said,
"You know me. You know the best I can be and you know the worst. I'm truly sorry. Never again will I be the reason for those tears to fall from your eyes. The most beautiful eyes mine has ever seen."
