"Lana ? Wake up gotta get ready for school ." I woke up from a weird dream I was running through the woods on all fours getting chased by something . " Coming mom !!" I got up and went to my closet and got a pair of shorts and a t-shirt with a tank top since it has holes in it . I put my hair in a side wave and ran down stairs to grab a banana and drive to school . I arrived just a few minutes before breakfast bell . I ran into the school and found justin my best friend . " Hey justin ! " he had on his usual outfit his tight jeans and his white t-shirt with his messy brown hair style . " Hey Lana !" he hugged me and played with my long light brown hair and let go and looked at my emerald eyes . He grunted when I hugged him . "Oh !! Are you ok?" he smiled and huffed . "Still as strong as ever . " That's one thing I never got over how strong I was and never was athletic , and how heightened I had in senses . " Still don't get how it happened justin and you know I'm not active but I'm so glad it's Friday!" It was Friday my favorite day because it was a week before the end of the year . He pouted and then looked at me . "What?" he smiled "Nothing, just I was wondering if you wanted to go on a trail with me tomorrow?" I smiled along with him . "Of course !I needed to get out of the house anyways." He smiled and laughed and if you were wondering if he's gay he's not . "So green eyes"been his nickname for me for years now " what time do you want me to pick you up ?" I shrugged "I don't know what time do you suppose you pick me up ?" he smiled "3 sound alright?" i smiled "Perfect."
Yesterday went by smoothly maybe because I was happy to be going somewhere with justin and to get out of the house. It was 2 when I got out of the bed and so I had to rush to get ready and pack a pair of sweat pants and a t-shirt while I wore short shorts and a tank top. Justin pulled in a few minutes after I got done packing everything and I was lucky that my mom was at work that night. 'Lana you coming?' said a text from him and I replied 'be down in a min.' with a smiley face . I was walking down the stairs and remembered to grab my charger from the bedside.I ran back upstairs and then ran out the door to his car . I hopped in and he grabbed my bag and put it in the backseat when I looked back I seen a bag of his stuff too. Then I turned back around and put my seat belt on . He still didn't tell me where we were going only that we were going on a trail. "We're here."I looked up from texting my mom that id be gone for the night ."What is this place?"He stopped the car when I said it. "Mountain black trail. It's a few hours away from home , you fell asleep." I just realized I did .When I looked at the time it was 6.we had about 3 hours to go where he wanted to take me."ok time to go."he said to me and I got my bag and got out of the car. He got out locked his car and started walking to the trail. "How long do you suppose we will be?"He just stared at the mountain."Well there this place that I want to check out that might tell you more about what you don't remember."I looked down and remembered the story I had been told by my mom. It happened 4 years ago we were driving to my grandma's house on a snowy night and we slid on the road and wrecked. It flipped the car while I was in the backseat. It killed my dad but it put me in a coma and broke my mom's legs. I was 14 then and still can't remember."Justin . Do you really think it will help?" He looked back at me and smiled "Have I ever been wrong before?"I smiled "always ." he started walking towards the entrance to the trail. I followed behind him.We were walking for about an hour and stopped to take a break When I seen lights in the far off distance it would take maybe another hour to get there. "You see that place up there on the mountain?" he looked up then looked at his map on his phone and looked at me and said "That's where we're going." We started walking farther until we found a dirt road that lead to the what seemed like a giant two story house that had lights on in it and it was getting dark. "Wanna see if we can stay the night there?"
