I tried to walk but got stopped by a whine. I looked down to see max laying on the floor. I felt Alana go limp and I layed them beside each other and they started to change shapes I gasped and called for Tristan in the mindlink. He came in a few minutes after and they were still changing forms. "What's happening to them?" I looked at them. "They are having their first change." I was about to pick them up but Tristan stopped me. "You can't touch them during their first change." I looked back at them and their bodies were bending in all ways and they soon started crying and wailing I growled at myself and turned around. I couldn't look. I heard a snap and then another and I knew it was over. I turned around to see a little black pup and a little bit bigger full white pup. I smiled and picked them both up. I put max in Tristan arms and held Alana close to me. I smiled and laid her in her carseat and max was in his. I kissed her forehead and she changed back from her wolf form and was human. I smiled and grabbed a diaper and clothes for her. I put them in her and did the same to max. I tucked them in and they were asleep for the whole way to the car. In the car it was a quiet ride almost to quiet so I put my headphones in and listened to my favorite playlist. I watched the trees pass outside the window. Tristan had mindlinked a few pack members to follow us and some were in a car behind us and the others were following us in wolf form to the hotel since it was an overnight trip. We pulled into the hotel and grabbed the kids that had gotten bigger in the car ride over to the hotel. The wolf's that were following on foot would keep an eye out outside. We checked in and went to our room which was a queen room. I grabbed the kids out of their carseat and tucked them into the other bed in the room and got ready to go to bed in the other bed. I looked out onto the balcony of the hotel and decided it would be a good place to relax for a bit. I walked over in my tank top and shorts. I stepped out and looked up and seen the moon on the last quarter of its place before the full moon. I smiled at the Moon and grabbed my phone and called my birth mom. "Hello?" she sounded like she just woke up. "Hey mom." there was a long pause in the phone. "What do you want Lana?" I sighed. "I just wanted to tell you thank you." she sighed in the phone. "What for?" I looked back at the Moon. "For being there for me. For bringing me into this beautiful world. I love you mom." I heard a sniffle. "Your welcome baby girl. I love you too." I realized I hadn't talked to her in a while. "You also have grandkids." she gasped. "Really?" I chuckled and said. "Yep a boy and a girl who are both very good kids one problem though is that the Moon goddess that has been talking to me. Is basically my daughters wolf." there was a silence than a cheerful whooping. I laughed and finished telling her about everything that happened in the past weeks. "Thank you so much for telling me. I'll come and visit tomorrow." I became serious. "We actually won't be there. We're going to tristans parents for at least two days." she groaned. "Ok then text me or call me when you guys get back and I'll come visit and we can go on a run. Ok?" I smiled. "Ok. I gotta go. Goodnight and I love you mom." I heard a shuffle. "Goodnight love you too. Bye." I said bye and hung up. I pulled out my head phones and plugged in them and listened to music and closed the door and say on the balcony and sang along with it. I looked at the time and it was ten o'clock. I stopped listening to music and walked in and laid down beside Tristan who was sleeping. He instinctively wrapped his arms around my waist. I smiled and laid on his arm and fell asleep. I woke up to Alana looking at me. I smirked and used my wolf speed and picked her up and started tickling her she laughed at me and said. "Momma stop it!" she said laughing. I stopped and laughed beside her. She giggled and then got up on the bed and pushed on tristans shoulder. He groaned and laid on his back. She chuckled and sat on his stomach. She stood up slowly and he peeked out of his eye slightly. She was up fully and then she came crashing down onto his stomach. He grunted and groaned. He opened his eyes fully and his wolf was there instead. He growled at Alana and threw her off him and onto the floor he growled and roared at her. I ran and tackled him to the ground and whispered in his ear. "Lyke let him back in control. NOW!" I whisper yelled in his ear. I felt hands wrap around me and then Tristan sit up and hug me. "Lana it's me. Lyke is pissed." he gruunted and then let go of me. "Lana take the kids and go to the forest. Now!" he told me then was grunting even more. I got off of him and grabbed our bags and grabbed max out of the bed and held him close to me then grabbed alanas hand and ran out of the room and locked it behind me. I ran down the hall and heard a loud growl and crashing. I ran into the elevator and pushed the first floor. The door closed and we were going down. We were on the last floor and the other wolf's met us at the bottom. "We need to go to the forest Now. Go he's out of control." I pushed one's back and they walked in front of me and opened the door and let me out. I walked out and waited for them and once the door closed I seen lyke coming through the elevator doors huffing and panting. I grabbed alanas hand and ran after the wolfs. They ran into the forest and we met Maddie and jax along with two more wolfs. They were sitting by a fire and I quickly gave max to Maddie and Alana sat down next to her I turned around to see Tristan heading this way. I growled and quickly took off my clothes. "Protect them. Stay here." I said in Luna tone and they obeyed. I shifted into my wolf and ran after Tristan and he growled coming after me. I growled and roared. He did the same and then he tackled me and we rolled around in the mud until I used my legs and kicked him off of me. ' why are you doing this lyke?' he growled at me and tried to come after me. I ran to the side. ' because she's gonna hurt us! She's not gonna destroy us.' I growled and turned and tripped him with my body weight. He went tumbleing and I jumped on top of him and grabbed his neck in my mouth and slung him across into a tree. I felt blood drip out of my mouth as I snarled and walked to him with it dripping out of my mouth. ' YOU WILL NOT TOUCH MY DAUGHTER!' he growled on the ground and looked at me and didn't move anymore. ' YOU THINK I WILL LET YOU. SHES MINE.' I grabbed his paws in my mouth and slung him again. ' YOU WILL STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM HER.' he groaned to stand up. I pushed him back down with my paw. ' Do I make myself clear?' I leaned down and growled in his ear. ' Yes Lana.' I stepped off of him and turned and smelled the air for alana. I started walking in that direction and then ran. I got there in no time and my clothes were tossed in my direction. I picked them up in my mouth and walked behind a tree and changed forms and put on my clothes. I walked back out and walked to Alana. She was hidden behind Maddie crying. I sniffled when I seen that and nodded her way. She peeked out of behind her. "It's ok. Daddy won't hurt me or you. Come here." she sniffled more and then ran out behind Maddie and up to me. I grabbed her and hugged her. "Lana?" I turned my head to see Tristan and this time it was him. I grabbed his bag and threw it to him. He caught it and put on clothes. I walked to Maddie and gave Alana to her. She giggled at Alana and smiled brightly at her. Alana stopped crying and laughed instead. I smiled and turned around to see Tristan walking towards Alana. I growled and he stopped. "Did you already forget?" he looked down and sighed. "That wasn't me and you know that. I couldn't control him. He thinks she's gonna destroy us. I can't help that fact." I sighed and nodded and he walked up to Alana. She first whimpered and then hugged him and he picked her up and hugged her back. I smiled slightly and then turned around and walked to a tree. I leaned against it and watched them play with each other. "Lana?" I looked to my side and seen jax. "Yes?" he stood beside me crossing his hands over his chest as I did. "You ok?" I nodded. "Im protecting my kids. I have to." I smiled his direction. "Why did he go after my niece." I growled lowly but he heard. "His wolf thinks that Alana is going to destroy us. It's not true though. Her wolf is the Moon goddess herself." he looked at me shocked. I nodded. "That's why." I nodded once more. "We might wanna get going if we wanna get there before nightfall." he nodded in my direction and walked up to maddie and grabbed max. I looked at alana and whistled. She looked up and I pointed my finger for her to come to me and she obliged and ran towards me. She jumped and I caught her and swung her around. I laughed and so did she. "Momma?" I looked at her. "Yes?" she giggled. "Can I change into a wolf to?" I say down and sighed. "Yes you can. Do you wanna try?" she nodded. I smiled. "Ok then ask something in your mind if it's there." she nodded and closed her eyes.
Alanas pov
I closed my eyes like momma said and asked something in my mind if it was there. "Hello?" I heard something say. "Uhh hi." she giggled. "Are you Alana?" I smiled. "Yes ummm who are you?" she said still giggling. "Im talana. Your wolf." I sighed and then opened my eyes. "Momma! There is something there. She said her name was talana." she smiled. "Ok now ask her if she can change." I smiled and closed my eyes again. "Umm hello?" I asked in my mind. "Yes I'm still here and you don't have to close your eyes or ask if I'm here." I nodded and she sighed with happiness. "Ok umm can you change?" she snickered. "Of course but you will need to find your will power to let me take over and change but when you do change you can take back over." I smiled then focused on letting her in. She was let in and she opened my eyes and then I heard a low growl and then I was on all fours and huffing. I chuckled and then I got back in control and howled. I smiled to myself and then started hopping around. I wanted to play. I looked towards Momma and she was smiling down at me. I seen shreds of clothing on her lap. I sniffed it and it smelled like me. I whimpered. "What is it baby girl?" I heard her say and I looked up and she was looking down at me with a confused look. I mugged towards my clothes and she smiled. "Its ok. You've got plenty." I smirked. "Wait right here. I'll be right back." I watched her walk into the woods.
Lanas pov
I walked into the woods and took off my clothes. I changed forms and walked back out and walked up to Alana and nugged her butt. She jumped and growled at me. I sat down and smirked at her. "Alana calm down it's just me." I said through the pack link. "How can I hear you on my mind?" she shivered. "Pack link. We can hear each others thoughts but can also cut them out." she giggled in the mind link. I smirked. "Ok. Your huge momma." I scoffed. "Ok shorty. Thanks." she got all mad and growled at me. "Don't challenge me. I could beat you in a race." I giggled as she said that. "Uh huh sure. Keep telling yourself that shorty." she growled and walked to the beginning of the patch of grass that was clear and said in her mind. "Ok than momma. Let's race." I scoffed and shook my head as I walked up beside her. I stood ready to beat her and she stood up and I mindlinked Maddie to tell had and the rest to move out of the way. I also told her tell jax to start us off. He obliged and said. "Ready. Set. Go!" she took off but I stayed and then when she got far enough I took off and caught up to her in 1 second and jogged beside her till the finish line and then I jumped once and beat her. I landed and it shook the ground. I smirked when she reached the finish line.
