I growled and it boomed I turned around and he was standing looking at my every move. I stood there but my paws hurt from the fresh burns. I nodded and he changed forms. I heard other chains rattle in the pit they came from behind me and beside me on both sides. I looked around and seen gates opening. I growled and heard growls coming around me. I heard snarls. They snarled at me. I went in a circle motion in my one position. One took the first lunge. I dodged it only to be bit in my leg by the other wolf that is covered in blood. I roared and grabbed its leg and slung it from me making a chunk miss from my leg. I buckled a little and another grabbed my side. I groaned and used strength in one paw to push myself up and down onto the other wolf to crush its chest. I sank my canines into its neck and threw it across the room. I felt another on my back and it's jaw into my neck. I couldn't breath so I shifted back to my human form and used my hands to pull its jaws apart. I could breath but almost wasn't strong enough to hold it open. I used every bit of strength and opened it forcefully farther earning a crack or two. I heard another roar and I knew I was running out of time. I look up slightly and the other one is running at me. I used my leg and kicked the other one towards that one and tripped it. The third one jumped on my back and sank its teeth into my shoulder. I grabbed its head and threw it off it hitting a wall. I changed forms back and sank into the sand. I was panting and almost ready to give up when I heard a faint voice. "Momma." it said it was Alana. 'You have to get back Lana. This is your chance. Get back to alana and max.' I knew it was the moon goddess. I growled and started to stand up I was wobbly but able to stand. I was losing a lot of blood but still standing. They circled me and growled and snarled. I snarled back at them. One lunged and over me the other tackled me. I landed on it but it was still stuck into my back with its teeth. I slammed it against the wall and then it let go. The other one that was gonna get to me got closer growling. I growled and used the rest of my strength to lung at him. I didn't get to him which was my intention I landed on the floor with a thud. I then lunged at him when he was still recovering from the dodge and I grabbed his neck and sank my teeth in but couldn't go down far enough since I was exhausted. He used his feet and dug into my side that was bleeding. I whined and let go. He pounced on me and shattered my arm. I roared in pain. I stood on three legs while he circled me. I watched carefully planning my attack. I used my leg as my cover. I laid down and showed submission. He smirked and came up to me which was a mistake. I took out his legs and pounced on his chest crushing it. I got off and tried balencing myself but failed and fell to the ground blood spilling out of my wounds. I slowly started to fade away when I felt my mate he was here. I opened my eyes only to see blood and tears. I changed back to my human state and laid there still.
Tristans pov
"Lana!" I ran up to her after I slaughtered most everyone in there. I held her in my arms as she started shutting her eyes. "No no no Lana please dont leave me." I cried a few tears and picked her up and jumped to the top of the pit and ran out of it and ran towards the pack close that we were to make peace with. I ran so fast and the faster I ran the less she felt cold. I was on their pack borders and I heard a growl I looked in the direction and it was the alpha of that pack. "Si its alpha black. My mate. Please she needs your pack doctor." he changed forms and nodded and led me to a seperate pack house and led me inside to the pack doctor. "Doc. The alpha black needs your assistance at once." I brought in Lana and placed her on the bed. The doctor looked at her and touched her arm earning a low growl from me. I was asked to leave. "What happened to her alpha before you go?" I sighed. "I let her out of my sights and she got kidnapped and thrown into a pit here in Nevada where they make money off of our species fighting." they snapped their heads in my direction then continued to help her. I looked through the window and kept an eye on her. She wasn't breathing but I knew she was there I knew she was. She was just still. "Please come back to me." I whispered and shed some tears in my palms.
Lanas pov
It was white. But pictures of my past flowed into my mind. "Is this what you want Lana? Life?" my breath was uneasy as I shed tears. "I want to go back I want to go back to my mate." she smiled. "Wise choice I wouldn't leave my kids either but I didn't have a choice. My babies were apart of me but you Lana you have more of me in you than anyone else. Your are basically me." I then seen a flash and then dark. I could hear but not see. "Please lana. Dont leave me. I need you." I heard Tristan say crying. I heard wailing too. "Shh shh." I heard gracy say. "Lana please. Please don't leave me." I heard the crys fade and then nothing.
Tristans pov
I had cried for a whole say and slept right next to her. I couldn't leave her not in this state. My sister has tooken my kids home and kept them there and updated me on how they were every now and again. "Ghh." I heard and I slowly raised my head. "Lana?" I saw a smile. "Baby?" I said trying to reassure myself. She nodded and tried to say something. "Your not gonna be able to do that for a minute." she nodded then tried again. "B baby it's me." she said and cried a little bit. "How long has it been?" I sighed at her question. "Exactly four days." She raised up a little but then fell back down groaning. "Your not healing properly. The doctor said something about you having to much of some substance in your blood stream?" she grunted. "White ash. The only thing that can hurt me partly or take me down." I growled and looked down.
Lanas pov
"That still exist?" he said growling slightly. I nodded then gave him a questioning look. "What do you mean that still exist?" he clenched his fist. "Dad said he destroyed it. That son of a bitch. Sit at his throne all say and do nothing while I do it all." he mummbled under his breath but I could still hear it. "Who's your dad?" he growled at the name. "My father is the alpha king." I shuddered at the mention of alpha king. I stayed speechless. He sighed and walked up to me and kissed my forehead. I didn't acknowledge it and just stayed still. ' Were mated to the alpha kings son?' I heard cala say since she was surprised too. I nodded in my head. 'holy shit.' she gasped in a holy shit tone. I laid my head back and just sat there thinking. "Lana are you ready to go?" I woke up not even knowing I fell asleep. "I don't know doc." she grabbed my hand and helped me up. "Thanks." she nodded. I didn't feel that much pain although I'm a little light headed. I sat up and got up. I walked to the bathroom and used the bathroom and got dressed I looked at my side and sighed. "You look better Lana." I said to myself. I put on the shirt that I guess Tristan left me and I put on the skinny jeans. I looked at my bandage on my neck and pulled it off. I looked at it and seen big bruises and bites. I whinced at the pain and put the bandage back on. I heard a knock on the door and I sighed. "I'll be out in a second." they walked away and I heard the chair in the room squeak meaning they say in it. I tried to reach for the faucet and screamed from the pain in my shoulder. I grabbed it and lifted the sleeve of the big t-shirt. I looked and was bleeeding again. "Shit." I heard a bang on the door. "Lana! Are you ok?" I breathed raggedly and nodded to myself. "Yeah I'm good just get the doctor." I heard foot steps retreat and then a holler. I reached for the faucet with the other hand and turned it on and grabbed a wash cloth and ran it under the water. I washed my face and heard a soft knock. "Lana it's the doctor can I come in?" I unlocked the door and took off my shirt to reveal the bandage. She nodded and walked to her cart to get new bandages. Tristan was in the chair and looked at me eyes filled with lust. I growled and turned my face back to the sink. My arm hurt. I felt the bandages come up a little and I breathed in with my jaw clenched. I grabbed another wash rag and ran it under the water. I handed it to her and she wiped the bite a little then put the new antibiotics on it and a new bandage. I sighed as the cream did its work. "All done now I want you to replace the old bandages at least twice a day on your shoulder and your neck one a day and your side once a day." I nodded and she handed me a box of bandages. I put the shirt back on and walked out. I put on the shoes that were there and started to walk out after thanking the doctor and sighning myself out. I heard footsteps behind me and I stopped and they rammed into me. I stumbled and they caught me. The tingles erupted and I knew it was Tristan. I smiled and turned around and kissed him.
