"I can't believe it." Luke spoke, crouched in what seemed like a very uncomfortable position over my windows laptop, eyes darting across the screen, reading the email for what had to be the millionth time.

"It just doesn't seem possible."

Calum's voice grabbed my attention, causing me to look up, in the direction of where he sat, legs up in the air.

I fumbled with the chipped, wooden drumstick that I held in my hand, the feeling of the wood in my fingers sending a calming vibe through my arm, erasing the goosebumps that prickled on top of my skin.

The sound of a fist -- very clearly a girls -- pounding against the door pulled all of us out of our trance, Luke last, assumingly because it took him a huge amount of effort to tear his pupils from the screen.

"Ella?" I questioned.

The door slowly creaked open, and exposed her body, dressed in nothing more simple than a dark pair of denim jean shorts, and a florescent blue camisole tank-top, which exposed the narrow path of her cleavage.

"Looking hot." Michael retorted, a grin breaking out over his face, his hair falling onto his forehead.

"Shut the fu-"

"Don't swear!" I exclaimed.

Her face flushing red, from what I didn't know as Michael's words, or my one sentence lecture.

Turning her head in the direction of Luke, her breath caught in her lungs, and her eyes widened, her brain processing the subject of the email, which stood out in bold, black text.

Her features fell, the corners of her mouth tilting downward in a way they normally didn't do, causing something deep in my chest to fall along with it.

Tears gathered on the brink of her eyes.

"You're leaving, aren't you?"

Something cracked.

I felt my heart fall, fall oh so deeply, down into the pit of my stomach, leaving a burning trail of pain as it did so, leaving my body numb of any feeling.

She stepped forward, kneeling down in front of me, but not close enough for skin to touch. Reaching her hand out, she picked the drumstick from my fingers, and began to stare at the chips, as if investigating it.

"You really do love what you do, don't you Ash?"

I nodded, not taking my eyes off of my sister.

My eyes were pinned to her tearstained face, my irises taking in her beautiful features. She peered up at me, her eyes glossed over.

I sighed, heavily, feeling my world crash down around me in a million little pieces.

"Yes, Ella, I do."

She nodded, and a smile forced itself over her face, though I didn't see how, because tears still raced down her cheeks, in a match to see which one could reach her jawbone first.

"You're going to have fun."

"Only because Harry Styles is sexy, and your brother has a thing for him."

Realization crossed over Ella's features, and a small smile appeared on her lips.

"Harry Styles? As in, One Direction?"

Her voice was hoarse, but still sounded curious. Luke smirked at her, his biting his top teeth down onto his lip piercing, and crossing his arms over his chest.

"Maybe."

"Lucas Hemmings!"

"What!?"

All traces of tears gone, my sister turned to face me, a sparkle in her eye that I hadn't seen in a very long time.

"Your touring with One Direction."

I have a small nod, smiling in her direction. She had looked so happy, happy for me.

"You're touring with One Direction."

Luke laughed at her, his straight, white teeth showing.

"We just said that. Honestly woman, it wouldn't hurt to listen."

Calum sat up from the couch, the leather creaking beneath him as he did so.

"She could always come, right?"

Ella's face lit up with excitement, looking to me for approval, eyes wide.

"I mean, she always could." I said with a shrug.

Covering her mouth with her hands, she didn't take her eyes off of me.

"Oh my god, Ash." She whispered.

Michael ran his hand through his hair, and leaned over Luke, snatching the computer from the small couch side table.

Moving his eyes over all the words that made up the content of the email, he just shook his head, scoffing.

"We're going on tour."
