I couldn't help but smile upon looking at my wallpaper. It was a photo of me and Ms. Lea taken by Isabella. There was a photo of us three too pero alangan naman na yun ang iwawallpaper ko when I'm sure that Isabella's wallpaper will be the one na sila lang dalawa.
I even print our photo together. Napagusapan din namin dalawa ni Isabella na babalik kami ng mall tomorrow to buy a picture frame since we forgot to buy one.
Nakangiti lang ako habang pinagmamasdan ang larawan and I couldn't help but be giddy kasi I saw my idol. I even told Nana about it during dinner. Shocked was evident on her face when I told her about it pero agad naman ito napalitan ng saya. All she did was listen to my story about how we met.
The smile on my face immediately disappear the moment I receive a text from my mom. I opened it.
Mom
Are you home already?
Yes po

Your tutor just sent a 50-item problem sheet email. Check it. I want you to answer it and pass it before midnight since she'll be sending you another problem sheet tomorrow.
Kaagad ako napabangon mula sa pagkakahiga ko at nagtungo sa study desk ko kung saan nandun ang laptop ko. I immediately turn the laptop on and check my email and like my mom said, my tutor, Ms. Bae just sent me an email with a file attached on it which probably the problem sheet that my mom is talking about.
"You look awful" ito ang kaagad na bungad sa akin ni Isabella pagkaupo na pagkaupo ko sa aking silya dahilan para mapatingin ako sa kanya at ngumiti ng matipid.
"I know right?" sambit ko "Miss Bae sent my problem sheet for the day so I end up answering it before I went to sleep"
"But we went home late, Lex" Isabella said as she looks at me worriedly "Nakatulog ka ba?"
She knew how hard Miss Bae's problem set can be. One-time kasi sinagutan ko dito sa school yung problem set na binigay ni Miss Bae kaya she offered help pero she ended giving up kasi nga mahirap daw.
"Yeah, I finish it around 1:30 naman" I said as I move my head sideways "Nakatulog din naman ako kaagad"
She heaved a sigh "Does your Dad knows about this, Alex? This isn't healthy for you anymore"
"Of course, he knew, Bella" I said "Other countries has this kind of life style. Dito lang naman siguro yung medyo pachill-chill lang" I added "So please stop thinking that my mom is an evil witch, okay? She knew what she's doing. Gusto niya lang kung anong maikakabuti sa akin" sambit ko at binigyan ng matamis na ngiti.
She sighed "You knew I can't help it" she said "The moment I saw her slap you, alam ko na na may dugo siya witch"
I giggled and shake my head "It was my fault, hindi ako nagpaalam remember? Of course magagalit talaga yun"
"But she's not supporting you sa gusto mo"
"She just want the best for me, Bella"
"Fine" she said as she raises her hand "Kahit naman anong sabihin ko about your mom, idedefend mo pa rin siya"
"Because she's still my mom, Bella" I said "Kahit pagbalik-baliktarin ko pa ang mundo, nanay ko pa rin siya. She was the one who brought me to this world and doon pa lang nagpapasalamat na ako" I added ang gave her a small smile.
