"Good Morning Nanay" Alexandria greeted the woman who looks like in her 60s when she went to the kitchen.
Lumingon si Rose, ang mayordoma at ang taong nangangalaga kay Alexandria "Good Morning, Al. Sige na umupo ka na para makakain ka na"
"Sila Daddy at Mommy po?"
Kumunot ang noo ni Rose habang nilalapag niya ang bagong luto niyang itlog sa hapagkainan "Hindi ba nila sinabi sa'yo na ngayon ang alis nila papuntang New York?"
Ngumiti na lang ng matipid si Alexandria at umiling bilang sagot.
"Hay nako! Yan talagang mga magulang mo sa sobrang busy nakalimutan na magpaalam sa'yo"
"It's okay, yaya it's not like this I the first time that this happened" Alexandria said as she put some of the food that was set on the table on her plate.
"Si Tita Lea nga po --"
"Good Morning" masiglang bati ni Lea sa mga tao sa loob ng kusina. Alexandria directly stands up from her seat and went towards Lea.
"Good Morning Tita" Alexandria said and kiss Lea's cheeks a reason for Lea to be stunned for a couple of seconds.
"G--Good Morning, Alex" Lea stuttered as she greeted back.
Alexandria yawned as she sits down "You look tired, Alex. Anong oras ka ba natulog kagabi?"
"I don't know Tita, siguro mga one or two o'clock na yata"
"That late?!"
"Pagalitan mo nga yan, Lea. Parati ko na yang sinasabihan na matulog ng maaga pero ayawa makinig kaya ayan palaging puyat yang batang iyan"
Alexandria gulped down her food when she felt someone is staring at her intensely, she looks at Lea and saw her eyebrows raising.
"It's midterms week, next week, Tita, so I have to study harder" Alexandria just tried to explain her side without even Lea asking.
Lea just shrugged her shoulders and said "If you say so" she then pick some food that was set on the table and started eating.
Alexandria just bow down her head, she felt embarrassed since Lea seems to not care about why she didn't sleep early yet she tried to explain herself.
"But Alex"
Alexandria tilts her head and looks at Lea "Learn to have some rest, baka mapaano ka pa kapag lagi na lang pag-aaral ang inaatupag mo. You have only one body, and your body will need some rest but you can always make up for your grades"
Alexandria smiled and nod "You don't have to worry, Tita, I'll make sure to get my body enough rest"
Lea just smiled and nod "Tapos ka na ba kumain?" she asked Alexandria when she saw her stand up. Alexandria just nods in response as she went to the sink to brush her teeth.
"Lea, ikaw rin ba tapos kumain?" tanong ni Nanay Rose nang makita niyang tumayo si Lea.
"Ahh opo, sabihin niyo na lang po kay Manong Esmael na ako na lang po ang maghahatid kay Alexandria" sambit ni Lea at tsaka binalingan ito ng tingin.
Alexandria's eyes widen in shock "Ikaw po maghahatid sa akin, Tita?"
"Yeah, since it's on the way rin naman" Lea said and smile "Hintayin mo ko ah? I'll just get my bag upstairs"
