Naruto Uzumaki owned a small cafe, one that was popular due to the owners cuteness and his amazing ability to be able to bake and cook almost anything. He ran the shop with his best friend Hinata Hyuga, who he thought attracted way more customers than he did. He was laughing with a guest when a man walked in, he put out his cigarette and found himself sitting in a booth being followed by a bigger man.

"Well nice talking honey but I have another customer, don't forget to try my new cake." Naruto slid him the check and walked to the man.

"Welcome to Edibles, what can I get you two?" Naruto asked sweetly, Naruto has seen men like this enter all the time and he could only think that these two were either in a Gang or the Mafia, maybe even an assassin.

The brown haired male looked up first, he had a red swirl tattooed on each cheek. His hair was long and spiky, he looked to his friend and then back to the blonde.

"I'll have your bbq pork ribs." Naruto smiled.

"And for you honey?" Naruto looked to the other male and he looked up at the blonde.

Naruto had to say, this man was handsome, he had raven hair in a ponytail with raven eyes that was slanted slightly. He had an lazy air about him but Naruto was sure he wasn't so lazy.

"I'll have your new cake." Naruto nodded.

"Coming right up." The raven haired male couldn't help but stare at the blonde. He heard his buddy chuckled and he sighed.

"Is that why we came, Shikamaru?" Shikamaru nodded and closed his eyes.

The first day he saw Naruto the shop owner he swore he fell in love. He watched Naruto handle two people who were trying to have their way with him. He didn't know a shop owner was so strong, but he ended up breaking their noses.

He saw his blonde hair flowing in the wind, the way his pants were tightened in all the right areas. The was his shirt clung to him. Then when his eyes saw those blue eyes glistening in the moonlight he knew, he wouldn't like another. He pictures those eyes on his future kids and whenever his father ask him to find a bride he can't help but think of the blonde.

"Here you are, you shouldn't just eat cake for dinner sir, I brought you a sandwich too, no charge." Naruto smiled and Shikamaru felt like he died and went to heaven.

"Sorry but we are so rude, my name is Choji and he is Shikamaru." Naruto smiled and bowed.

"Nice to meet you both, I'm Naruto owner of this shop, and my best friend Hinata is owner as well." The two nodded but Shikamaru was caught in that smile.

"Yo Naruto, can we get some cake?" Naruto chuckled and turned around.

"Stop yelling across my Cafe Kiba before I get Hinata." Kiba shrunk and went to a stool. Naruto turned back around and placed food on the table.

"Call me over if you both need anything, enjoy your meals." Naruto turned around and went to talk to Kiba. Hinata walked up after she finished all the paperwork and chuckled.

"So, Who's the hottie that keeps taking looks at you?" Naruto laughed.

"Shikamaru, However He's bad news." Naruto sighed as he fixed Kiba and Shino a drink.

"He looks like the type to be able to protect you, I say go for it." Hinata Said sitting on the counter. Kiba nodded.

"We've been here for two hours and they're still here, one of them is interested in you, you attract the craziest people." Naruto sighed, don't even get him started on that.

"Sasuke and Itachi were mistakes, and Kankuro was just a lapse in judgement." Shino chuckled.

"Kankuro was so explosive, how did you deal with him for a year?" Naruto sighed, he had no idea.

"Well go talk to him, TenTen is on her way then the four of us are having a double date." Naruto turned around and glared at them.

"You will help me clean before she gets here am I understood?" The three of them trembled before running of to clean the tables and wash the dishes.

Naruto chuckled as he made his way over to the boys, he saw Choji stand to bow and then leave the store, he however walked to Shikamaru who was sitting there taking the last bite of the cake.

"Are you both finished?" Naruto asked and Shikamaru nodded. He took out a $100 bill and placed it in Naruto's apron.

"This was an amazing dinner, thank you Naruto." Naruto grabbed Shikamaru's hand, and said man turned around.

"This is way too much, your food only cost 20.15." Shikamaru smiled and slowly moved his hand to his cheek, Naruto blushed at the contact and it took everything in Shikamaru to not kiss him.

"Keep the change, have a good night." Naruto stood there stunned as he watched Shikamaru leave, his heart pounding fast and it showed no signs of stopping.

TenTen walked in and saw Naruto just standing there, one hand over his heart and the other clenching his apron pocket.

"Hina, I think Naruto is broken." Hinata looked at Naruto and smiled.

"He's not broken, he has a crush." TenTen smiled and Naruto felt like he was about to die.

A crush huh.

Shikamaru drove to a home, he had a mission and it would take place at the poor unfortunate soul of Uchiha Madara, Choji was in the passenger seat typing away. Shikamaru had a cigarette in his mouth as he seemed to slam on the gas.

"Left up here." The car swerved and he continued.

"Right here."

"We have reached our destination." Shikamaru slammed on the breaks as they looked up.

"What's the details of the mission?" Choji strapped himself with some guns and a few knifes.

"Our mission is to kill Uchiha Madara and frame Orochimaru." Shikamaru nodded.

"Let's do this then."

Shikamaru was so enraptured with the blonde because he symbolized light, something he never could be. He belong to the top assassin Agency in Japan. Konoha's defense ministry.

He's been an assassin for 5 years, he was their top assassin too, him and his best friend Choji. He couldn't leave, this was his profession, he couldn't do anything else other than be an assassin. It's what he was good at.

"Let's get this over with, I want to go back to the cafe." Shikamaru said softly and Choji smiled.

"Looks like you finally found someone worth being your bride." Shikamaru nodded.

My bride huh.
