Date and Feelings.

"So where are we going?" Naruto asked in the passenger seat of Shikamaru's amazing car.

Shikamaru wore dark jeans and a white shirt with a black jacket over him. Naruto was sure he had at least a gun or a knife stranded to him. Naruto however wasn't scared, he just continued to look at Shikamaru while he was driving.

"Somewhere." Naruto rolled his eyes but continued staring.

"What do you like Shikamaru?" Shikamaru stopped at a red light and hummed.

"I like the sky, the clouds, and sun. The stars the moon, just watching it change soothes me. I like you and I like sleeping." Shikamaru stepped on the gas and Naruto chuckled.

"I'm flattered, how long were you watching me from the shadows?" Naruto asked as Shikamaru finally came to a stop.

"1 month, let's go." Shikamaru got out the car and Naruto followed. He was walking next to Shikamaru before looking up and smiling.

"You brought me to a carnival." Shikamaru shrugged and placed his hands in his pocket.

"It seemed like a good idea, I even bought it out. We are the only two here." Naruto smiled and ran towards the gate.

"Naruto Wait." Shikamaru Said but he found himself sighing and chasing after the hyper blonde.

'Is there eyes on the Nara?'
'Hai, he's with a girl. Should i wait?'
'Absolutely not, move in. I want the Nara dead'

Naruto was smiling on the Ferris wheel eating a chocolate churro as he laid a head on Shikamaru's shoulder. They watched the sunset and Naruto thought this date was amazing.

"Naruto you never told me about your likes." Shikamaru said placing his jacket over Naruto.

"I like baking and cooking. I like carnivals and I like a certain shadow." Naruto chuckled and Shikamaru smirked.

"So am I the shadow." Naruto nodded.

"You remind me of a shadow, staying in the dark, following the light. Which in this case is me." Shikamaru chuckled because it was true.

" I see. Anyways the sun set, let me take you home before Hinata skins me alive." Naruto laughed because Hinata was more likely to skin him alive.

As they were getting off the Ferris wheel, Shikamaru had a funny feeling but kept walking. As soon as they reached the gate to leave Shikamaru pushed Naruto behind the trash can. Shikamaru swiftly dodge a punch from a masked man.

"My, you're good. However, I have orders to kill you." The mask man said and then he pulled a knife.

Naruto sat behind the trash can, eyed worried about Shikamaru, but he knew Shikamaru would protect him. At least he hoped he would. Naruto was watching until he felt someone grab his collar.

"Sorry but my orders are to grab the girl and leave." Naruto shook out of the hold and glared at the second masked man.

"I am not a girl, and I will not play damsel in distress." Naruto kicked the man hard in the gut. While he was doubled over in pain Naruto kicked the side of his face.

"Don't go around kidnapping people." Naruto punched the guy again giving him a lecture as he was doing it.

Shikamaru was panting as he finally knocked the one on the ground out. He immediately called Choji since he was the closest to his location. He looked over to the trash and to see Naruto wasn't there. His blood ran cold, he thought somebody took him.

He was getting nervous, he took his eyes off of Naruto for about 2 minutes, you know what could happen in that much time? Shikamaru first tied up the guy who tried to kill him. He made sure he couldn't breakout of it, then he walked towards the trash can to see Naruto sitting on a masked man.
