Jacob arrives at my place, I need him.

I go downstairs and let him in and guide him into my bedroom and I sit on the floor.

"Ashton...", Jacob whispers while soaking in his own tears. I try to hide my wrists underneath my sleeves, trying to hide the scars.

"Don't try to hide those. It will just make it worse for your self conscious." Jacob says as he sits in front of me slowly pulling up my sleeves.

"J-jacob. You know you don't have to do this." I warned him. "No. I just want you to be healed. I don't want you to be depressed anymore.", Jacob says while leaning in close to my wrists, giving my scars a light kiss.

I grab his face softly and whispered to him, "Jacob. You don't have to do this. I have millions of questions to ask. And all I want is the answer." Jacob looks up and sits back, "I'm listening."

"Why are you sweet to me?" I ask him while looking into his eyes.

"You mean a lot to me. Every person counts, but you mean the most."

"Why me?" I asked.

"I chose you because you're different than the others."

"Oh." Was all I can manage to say.

He grabs my hands and places them on his lap.

I sit there in silence and stare into his eyes. All I could think of is just to cuddle with him. I don't know what else to do.
"Why did you lie to me?" Jacob asks me.

"I didn't lie."
"Yes you did!" Jacob yells at me in a concerned voice.
I look down start to pout but all I did was just grab his hand tightly.
"I'm sorry." I told him.

"It's okay. I will stay here for the night. Let me go get changed"
Jacob gets up and starts to change in the bathroom.

I walk to my bed and lay down.

I can't sleep.
He comes out of the bathroom and lays down on the other side of me. I turn around and see the back of his head.

I smile and think of all the great things in life. He is changing me step by step.

I scoot closer to him and wrap my arm around and pull him closer to me.

"Thank you." I whispered softly in his ear.
