Chapter 64

(Jade's P.O.V)

The next day I saw an unfamiliar car in the drive way. I showered and did my routine and then walked downstairs. I saw a girl sitting next to Taylor. No. Not again. This can't be happening. He can't be with another girl.

Let's not jump to conclusions now. Let's just ask them.

"Hey guys. Who's this?" I asked with a smile.

"Oh. That's Taylor's "special" friend." Carter said and I nodded.

"So are you guys a thing?" I asked.

"Yeah a little." The girl said with a smile but Taylor wasn't smiling.

"My name is Sabrina." The girl with long brown hair said.

"I'm Jade." I smiled at Sabrina and then went upstairs.

I grabbed my guitar and began to sing Diana by One Direction. After I sang a couple of songs I ended with Amnesia by 5SOS. Tears filled my eyes and I put my guitar away. I need to move out now. I need to get my own place and be alone. I've already looked at apartments and the one I might get already has furniture.

I walked downstairs to Sam and sat next to him.

"Sam, I'm moving out." I said.

"What? Now?" Sam asked and I nodded.

"You don't even have an apartment though." Sam said and I sigh.

"She can come live with me. I have room." Andrea said with a smile.

"Really?" I asked and Andrea nodded.

I hugged her and smiled.

"Thank you so much!" I said.

"I guess. When are you leaving?" Sam asked.

"I don't know. Maybe a couple of weeks." I said and he nodded.

I went back upstairs to my room and someone followed me and shut my door behind them. I knew it was Taylor.

"Listen, me and Sabrina aren't really a thing. Yeah she flirts with me but I try not to flirt back. We aren't dating. She just said thst because she likes me. I have some interest in her but I have many interests in you." Taylor said and I didn't say anything.

"I'm just frustrated right now. You've done this to me more than once and I'm sick of it. Why can't you just be a real man and ask me out already?" I asked.

"Because. I just can't." Taylor said and looked down at the floor.

"Why not?" I asked crossing my arms.

"Just because. I don't want to tell you. You'll hate me." He said.

"Just tell me or leave." I said, raising my eyes brows.

"Fine. I haven't asked you out yet because there's many girls that are interested in me and I'm interested in some of them as well." Taylor's words hit me like knives.

"I can't believe you. I've gone through enough heart break and drama and now more? When will it end? Oh wait, it won't." I said as tears filled my eyes.

"I'm sorry ok. I'm just having a tough time." Taylor said.

"You're having a tough time?" I scoffed.

"Yes, I am." Taylor said.

"Whatever. I'm leaving anyway so I hopefully won't have to see your face every fucking day." I said.

I saw the ring on my finger and I slipped it off. It's the promise ring Taylor gave me for our friendship. It says forever on it in cursive. I put it in Taylor's hand and tears formed his eyes.

"Take it. It obviously means nothing to you." I said.

"Don't do this Jade. This ring means more to me than you think. We can't just end like this. I won't accept it. I'm not taking this ring, you are." Taylor said.

"Just fucking take it ok!" I yelled.

Taylor grabbed my hand and slipped the ring on it. What he did next was unexpected.
