Okay so basically Edd, Tord, and Matt are all like- highschoolers, who go to the aquarium almost EVERY day, I dunno why don't ask me, but every time they go past the Mermaid tank, this one guy, the only Merman in the tank, will follow them across from tje other side, tapping on the glass and making noise as if he's trying to speak. Tord never really liked him, but Matt was quick to notice him and got Edd to as well, and they started tapping back, giggling constantly whenever they got to see Tom. But the thing was, Tom never smiled. He would sound or tap happily/excitedly, but never smile or giggle or laugh. Maybe Tord can change that
