Gene's POV
"Who are you?." I asked calmly.
She smiles and then sighs.
"I'm a close friend to Lady Irene."
"Define your alliance to her." Dante said stepping forward.
"I am Menphia the Fury."
We all gasped.
"You can't be the--."
"I am." She said as she showed her iron fists.
"How?." Dante asked.
"It's a complicated story." Menphia said.
"But why? Why now?." Nana asked.
"Why show up now when our friends are dead?!." I said a little with anger.
She puts a hand on my shoulder and smiles sympathicly.
"I'm sorry this happened to you and all the realms but it happens for a reason." She said patting my shoulder and stepping back.
"For what reason, did my innocent family die?!." Zane yelled.
Menphia sighed. She moves back.
"You see... Irene and... The demon warlock had a huge fight. The Demon Warlock wanted his son to follow his footsteps and become the all evil king of this realm. Later then, Irene, his wife and I hid their son away from the demon warlock. He was enraged. He saw it as a betrayal that must be punished. Sooner or later, he came to confront me. He asked where I hid his son with anger. I told him that his son will no longer take the burden you gave him. The reason we hid Travis away from him in the other realm.. And as for your friends, he saw them as the divine warriors. He wanted those who look like them to feel the pain and anger. I fought him off until he showed his magic. He defeated me in one blast. Irene and the others arrived and fought him off. They succeeded and locked him away in a realm he couldn't escape. " Menphia explained.
" That doesn't explain why Y/N is related to Lucas and why our family and friends died."Katelyn said standing up.
Menphia's POV
I sighed and looked at all of them.
" Expound. "Dante said.
" My other self, the other half of who I am is Lucas's sister. The part of who I am that was scared. I lost my life there and now I am here. Back to one piece. Your friends and family, are my friends too. They all lost their lives just to keep me alive and to save those who cannot fight for themselves. I hid myself for centuries and gave half of who I am to a piece in only two worlds and eventually, I became part of your family, Gene. "I said looking at Gene.
" I am really sorry to what happened to everyone that you all lost... "I said and they all look down.
" But, that will all change if we fight him. If we end him. End his charades. End his plans and end his abilities to destroy us from within. "I said and they looked up.
" I have my share of mistakes that led up to this conclusion too.. But we do not have to be this way. Wallowing in fear and in anger. That's what's making him stronger. Our fears is his power. This is the time we must fight back as a team. We're never alone and I know we can do it. "I said in determination.
" That's true. "Zane said.
" Together as a team. "I said as I held my hand out.
They all nod and surround me. They put their hands on top of mine.
" Together As One!. "
