Lucinda's POV

I ran as fast as I could. Until, I heard a scream. It was so familiar. It was Y/n. I  stopped. Why am I running when I could teleport?

I then teleported in front of four people wearing black chanting on the unconscious Y/n. I took out my staff and attacked them.

"Get away from her!." I zap a person which made that person hiss and they all poof away.

"Y/n!." I run to her.

I saw a marking on her right wrist.

I knew it. This was the marking of a Shadow Knight and I know who it is.
I tried to remove the spell they put in Y/n and I wasn't wrong. They used a corruption spell to destroy her using her deepest fears and emotions. Luckily, it erased everything what she saw in her mind.

"IRENE! Y/n!." Gene and Dante came over and helped her up.

She mumbles which made Gene and Dante look at me. I gave them a nod. The others came as well. They helped her. Travis walked over to me.

"What happened?." He asked.

I sighed and walked away.

"It's very complicated.."

Timeskip to Mystreet

Y/N's POV

I opened my eyes. I heard voices. I moved my hand and fell a cushion. It's the couch. Ah... The couch. Wait! I sat up quickly. I saw everyone. They all sighed in relief.

"W-what happened?." I asked.

They all looked at Lucinda. Lucinda sighs and kneels in front of me holding my hands.

"Y/n Black. Right?." she asked.

"Of course. You already know that." I said chuckling a little.

"Right." She said looking down then back up me.

"Shouldn't we still have to observe her? Wait for chapter 30? Cause if we can wait... Then.. We could be ready." Gene said.

"Right..." Dante said.

"You see Y/n. You bumped your head on a huge tree and collapsed. You screamed at first... Then you collapsed. I'm guessing you hit yourself pretty bad." Lucinda said giving me a warm smile.

"But.. The four people they surrounded me in darkness and reminded me of the distant past.."I said.

" It was the concussion.. "Lucinda said.

" What? How can that be?! I saw it. With my two eyes!. " I said not believing them.

" Please note...that you hit your head on a tree and you had a huge concussion. Luckily, I found you and I healed you with the last strength I had. "She said.

I sighed. Maybe it was... Maybe it was just a dream.. Or a result of a concussion.

" What do you mean by chapter 30?." I asked, looking at Gene.

"Chapter 30 is a codename for a friend of ours. He can help." Gene said.

"Oh. And who is that?." I asked.

"Me."A black haired man with a blue streak on his hair said. Ein.

"E-Ein.." I said my voice laced with fear.

"Hey. I heard you had an accident hitting on huge tree and got a concussion. I just came to bring you these." he said handing a gift basket.

I checked the basket. It was all fruits and flowers. There was even a chocolate box.

"Heh. It was the only thing I could give to you. Plus, I got these. Incase you had problems with eyesight."He said handling me a new pair of eyeglasses.

"My sister's not blind." Dante said

"But she can be clumsy these days.." Gene said chuckling a little.

"I did leave you some flowers in your hospital room. I came everyday to check on you. Your brothers did allow me to visit you." Ein said blushing faint pink.

He likes me?

"Ein.. I'm very thankful but why so worried when you knew I would always wake up?."I asked.

"Cause... You're my senpai... My cute.. Y/n~senpai." He said.

"I also made a promise to check on you every once and awhile and it never did once.. Bother you until now." he added.

"Oh. Well. That's great. Thank you." I said giving a smile.

"anyways... Let's just sit back and relax... And maybe give a break about the outdoors." Aphmau said scratching her neck since she gave the idea of getting out the house.

"I-its true tho.. Nature can be hard on you." Laurence said with his bright smile.

"And it's tougher that you think it is.." Travis said.

"Let's just stay here..."
