Lucinda's POV
"There is NO fifth person Gene." I said.
"Yes there is! The ancient archives said There IS a fifth person!." he said.
"There isn't! They are the four, Destructive Brothers! There Is NO fifth person!." I said with anger lacing in.
Suddenly, the book beside me glowed.
Everyone stares at it. We all close in at it. The words in the book were moving around as if it was jumbled around. Then we saw pictures as the words form it.
" What the. "Dante said.
Once the book stopped glowing, I started flipping the pages.
" There are symbols... Symbols I haven't quite seen. " I said looking at the symbols.
" Let me see that. "Zane scrunched in.
He analyzed everything.
" This is a familiar code. Don't you think Nana?. "He said showing Nana the code.
" It is! Travis and Laurence used this before! You know for the clue hunt?. "Nana said.
" Wait? What is it called?. " I asked.
" I think it was baby code. "Nana said.
" Baby code? Don't you mean Babington Code?. "Dante said looking at the code.
" It IS Babington Code. "He said astonished.
" Wait you know this brother?. "Gene asked.
" Yep. Since you were busy with the ancient archives, I studied myself some ancient and old time codes. For example the Babington code. "Dante said.
" What is it used for?. " I asked.
" In 1586 Anthony Babington designed this cipher to send secret messages to Mary, Queen of Scots. The messages detailed a plot to assasinate Queen Elizabeth I and put Mary on the Throne. " Dante said.
" Wait.. If the babington code was made on 1586 did... They still live in that time?. " I asked.
"In this book the letters and symbols are not the same. So, this was the unofficial Babington code or otherwise known as the secret code. This is a mixture of the babington and ancient coding." Dante said.
"But can you decipher it?." Zane asked.
"Probably I can... But I do need some help." Dante said.
"I'll help." Gene stood forward.
"I know some codes used in ancient times so I guess I could help make it out for you." Gene said smiling at Dante.
"Me too. I've studied a lot about Ancient history and their system of writing. I'll help make it out." I said smiling at them.
"Wait how many pages can you even decipher?." Nana asked.
I looked at Dante and he flipped the pages. He counted the pages.
