"Jungkookie," Taehyung sang as he pulled at the corner of the youngers eyes. "You're up next."
Taehyung sat on the edge of the leather couch where Jungkook dozed off.
"Coming," Jungkook said with his eyes still closed, sitting up. He looked around the big room with the high ceilings and saw a few of the members playing around. Taehyung was already gone, so Jungkook lazily walked over to the edge of the white sheet which was hung above his head.
Jungkook admired Jimin who was posing infront of the big camera. The lighting was casting shadows across the older's biceps which were being exposed by his sleeveless t-shirt. His fluffy hair was hanging down his forehead. The sight made Jungkook self concious about what he would look like under the bright lights, changing poses after every flash.
"That's good, Jimin-ssi," Bangtan's manager said from behind the big camera. "Jungkook," he gestured for him to take his place infront of the big camera lens underneath the spotlights.
In these circumstances, Jungkook would easily satisfy his manager, not act awkward and stiff as if he'd never had a photo shoot, like he was now. The photo shoot on Jungkook's behalf only lasted a few minutes before the staff gave it a rest.
"Jungkook, we're returning here tomorrow for the group shoot," his manger informed when he approached the youngest. "Catch up on your sleep, we'll try again tomorrow."
When all the members were called in, they all gathered around the big screen to see how the photo's turned out. The group's serious criticism only lasted a few moments before turning into cocky remarks implying that their composures were more sexy and handsome than the rest.
As the six members moved away and began play-fighting, Jungkook took a closer look at the photos. The photographer and their manager were discussing which ones would be fit for their upcoming comeback and getting rid of photos as they went. When all of Jungkook's shots were deleted, he couldn't help feeling annoyed because he couldn't get his act together. He needed to be on point, especially when they were about to start promotions.
With a sigh, he left to the snack table. It was only when he was taking a sip from his drink bottle that he felt someone's presence.
"Are you going to come and join us or are you deciding to be a loner and hang around the snacks," Jimin, who was picking up some chips, said without looking over at Jungkook. "Besides, didn't you say you were on a diet?"
"I am," Jungkook said defensively. "and I don't feel like getting wrestled today, Jimin."
Jimin stuck out his bottom lip: "You know I'm older than you, right? Seriously, you call everyone else hyung except me. Am I that short?"
"You're older than me?" Jungkook chuckled. He drew back laughing when Jimin punched his arm playfully.
"By two years, you kid."
"I didn't know that. Sorry hyung."
Jungkook chuckled teasingly.
"I am this close to..." Jimin ended off his sentence by grabbing a cup of water and throwing the cool liquid onto the youngers pants.
As soon as he turned around to back away, Jimin felt water drip down his bare back. He knew it was the contents of Jungkook's water bottle that was now soaking through the back of his shirt before he even turned around to look.
When Jimin did turn around, he saw the maknae with a cheeky grin on his face, sipping the remaining water from his bottle.
"Insult for an insult, hyung," Jungkook said, "You splash me, I splash you. I know I deserved it, but I would never rest again if I didn't get you back."
"You, kid," Jimin muttered as he tried to ring out his wet top. "I was going to ask, were you okay today? During you're shoot, you seemed a bit off."
"It's okay, Jimin. Jimin hyung. Manager hyung is giving me another chance when we do our group shoot tomorrow."
"What happened today?"
"I guess seeing you and the others... it just makes me a little self concious. You all look so good and, I don't know," Jungkook didn't realise how awkward it would be discussing this with another member.
"You shouldn't be comparing yourself with us, Jungkook. You're attractive and talented, even gained the Golden Maknae nickname for being good at everything," Jimin paused, looking away. "I sometimes envy you, you know. With your dancing and vocals, you're even a good rapper. You're funny and good in interviews, everyone has a soft spot for you.
"But, seriously. You shouldn't be underestimating yourself," Jimin finished off.
"Gee, hyung. When did you get so cheesy?" Jungkook asked with a chuckle.
"Dreams don't work unless you do!" the older cheered, "But seriously, if you ever need advice on posing infront of a camera, you know I'm the one to call."
Jimin winked playfully before showing off his sexy poses as he called them.
"I'm not some fangirl you want to impress so you can stop now," Jungkook cringed, but laughed anyway.
"Come on, then," Jimin draped an arm over the youngers shoulders. "We should be going back to the dorm soon."
As Jimin lead him to the other members who were yelling and shouting, Jungkook found himself in a better mood with a smile back on his face.
a/n: Sorry about the cheesy ending, idk. ☆
