Never Cry Wolf

Chapter 1: Running

  My vision flash's as I continue my break neck speed into the forest. Paws thundering behind me as I whiz past trees and almost trip on underbrush. My heart is hammering in my chest thinking how I might get out of this situation. Just as I feel claws reach my back I am jerked into reality. I sit up quickly in the cheap motel room I had rented for the night to get out of the pouring rain. As I adjust to being awake I feel the sweat sticking to my skin. I rub the sleep out of my eyes for good measure checking if I am actually awake. I sign when I come to terms that it was an awful nightmare. I swing my legs over the side of the cheap mattress that I had slept on for the night. As my feet come in contact with the worn in carpet I reach my hands above my head and stretch. I snap my teeth together as I finish the stretch. I stand up and walk towards the small bathroom I jump in the shower to wash off the grime of sleeping in the gross bed. As I stand letting the lukewarm water washing over my aching body I think about the nightmare. I realize this was no nightmare but just a mere memory of last week. I shiver thinking about the claws slicing into my back. I turn the water off and dry my body putting on a new pair of clothes and throwing the rest around the room. I do the rest of my business in the restroom. As soon as I'm done getting dressed I slam the door to the room and take off into the woods behind it. I try to move as fast as possible knowing that they have been tracking me since I had that run in with one of the many packs dominating South America. This one just happens to be the Alpha Kings which is a severe mistake on my part what can I say opps? Anyhow I know full and well that I'm probably not walking away from this one but that won't keep me from trying. I rub against a tree to get my scent into it and run one direction and rip a piece of my clothes. I throw these strips in the opposite direction of where I'm actually heading. I can hear howling in the distance maybe a hundred miles. I'm thinking I probably should have kept running and not stayed the night at a random ass motel. All I can think about is the endless running I did not a week before and how tired I had been. As I keep running I hear wolf paws hitting the ground not much behind me. My eyes grow wide as I realize their much closer than I had originally thought. I pick up speed as I hear the paws getting nearer and nearer. My heart thundering in my chest and my breathing erratic I try my best to run but I hear their growls not to many feet behind. I think about how I am more than likely not going to make this one out alive although I have been through so much due to my horrific past. As I'm distracted I didn't realize the tree root jutting from the earth. I trip over the root rolling as I hit my head onto a rock I am dazed for a few moments as I look at the early morning sky. I feel rough hands grab onto my shoulders and drag me. I look up and see brown hair, blue eyes and a strong jaw. The man looks down at me and smirks deviously " I thought I was chasing a rouge not a pretty young girl." The chuckles that follow have me disgusted " I thought I was getting chased by a pack of puppy's. Guess we're both mistaken." I smirk as his face drops into an angry frown. I feel a sting to my face before I realize he had hit me. I growl fiercely before snapping my canines at him my wolf Nina fighting to get free. The man chuckles once more and hits me right in the temple knocking me out cold. Before I fall unconscious I hear " won't the Alpha have fun with you." My mind fades to black as I think of what is to come.

Here's the first chapter hope you find the story interesting I will be updating more than likely once a week.
