MEETING YERI

Sungjae and the others are patrolling around the area. Especifically where the crime has made. They want to ensure that the people will feel safe.

Changsub and Jackson are losing patient upon asking multiple people. They cannot find a single soul who will say that they have witnessed the incident.

They gathered around in a 24/7 convenience store. Coffees are scattered on the table and all of them are exhausted. The dawn is breaking but none of them have slept a wink.

"Did you find something?" Suga asked while sipping on his coffee. Changsub just grunted before planting his face on the table making Suga sighed realizing the answer.

"I wanna sleep." Peniel mumbled rubbing his eyes while pouting. The others are still doing some rounds before the regular police in Seoul will take over for the day. Eunkwang was called in the department by the general, probably being lectured because they haven't found anything aside from the bodies.

They are all drown with their thoughts when two girls came in the convenience store. One is happily clinging on the tall figure. Sungjae's eyes widened when he realized that the tall figure is Joy. He shot on his feet walking at the two girls out of his own accord.

"Uh?" The girl clinging on Joy is now glaring at Sungjae when he blocked their path. "What are you doing outside at this godly hour?" He asked not minding the girl while he has his eyes on Joy. This is making him lost his wits. The killer is still lurking around the corner and this girl is doing some night gala with her friend.

The rest of his units are just watching. In their eyes the two are married couple and is fighting. Changsub whispered something on Jackson and the latter giggled before placing some money on the table. Suga raised his brow at him but realization dawn on him as he placed his own on the table. "I'm betting on the girl." He mumbled and Jackson snickered. "I'm on Sungjae. Man, I'm sure he has the upper hand." He said while wiggling his brows.

The others followed suit placing their bets on the table. Joy have seen it but she never said a thing. She's just looking at Sungjae who has a tired expression while waiting for her answer.

"I'm out with Kim Yerim. You don't need to worry." She explained while Yeri's jaw dropped on the floor. She have never heard Joy speaking in that way with a guy. Unless it's some higher ranking people, Joy will spit fire at someone who will dare jump in her way. But looking at Joy now, she looked like a tamed tigress. "Impossible." She spoke out loud before squeeling like a teenager seeing her crush.

She then jumped into Sungjae hugging him tight. Sungjae was caught off guard and the guys are perplexed. "The fuck is happening over there?" Peniel said while shaking his head. "Probably some drama that I'm not interested with." Suga said and Changsun agreed. "Ah, poor maknae." He added clicking his tongue.

Joy remained silent. She just watched Yeri be herself as the younger girl is now clinging on the person she's aiming to kill. "What's your name?" Yeri asked in a happy tone. She couldn't believe a guy will be able to tame their cold-hearted Joy.

"Sungjae." He answered giving Joy a confused look. The girl smirked at him before walking to the counter. She didn't even gave them a second glance.

"Don't mind her. She's just being her usual self. Come on, tell me how did you meet Joy." She said while pulling him into an empty table. She's going to squeeze information out of him. Since she's well aware that Joy will never say a thing then she will get the answers from this guy.
