I KNOW THAT KID

Joy woke up alone in bed. She didn't bother looking for Sungjae for there are faint voices coming from the living room. Yeri's voice is one of them and that made Joy to get up fast from her bed.

With furrowed brows and messy hair she came out of the room glaring at everyone. "I told you to tone down your voices." Sungjae bellowed when he spotted Joy on their bedroom's doorway. "You woke her up." He said glaring at them.

"I kept my voice low, it is Yeri who's too loud." Changsub pointed at Yeri and the latter just made face at him. They act like they've been friends since birth. She looked at Joy and said sorry to her in her utmost gentle voice. Joy just shook her head before heading to the kitchen. "Is she that usually cold?" Peniel asked while munching some popcorn that they've cooked earlier.

"Yeah. She don't usually talk and mingle with people. She prefers to be alone than to be with someone." Yeri explained popping some popcorns in her mouth. Suga's keeping his eyes on Joy observing her every move and Sungjae noticed it getting the wrong idea. "Stop looking at my wife, man." It came out of his mouth even before he could realize the words.

Everyone fell silent. Sungjae gulped down. Joy who's fetching a water broke out in a laugh. She's even clutching her stomach from too much laughing and Sungjae's whole face turned red out of embarrassment.

"Sorry man, didn't know you're quite possessive." Suga said with a hint of teasing, finally letting go his suspicions. Changsub laughed like a mad man pointing at Sungjae. "Man, you're whipped." He said wiping his fake tears from laughing. Peniel is also a mess with Hyunsik giggling in the corner like some teenagers.

Joy recovered from too much laughing. She strode towards them settling beside Sungjae. She then patted his head and Sungjae could only held his head low out of shame. "Cute." She mumbled while laughing.

People around them fake gagged before throwing them some throw pillows. Joy and Sungjae caught those and dodged the others whilst laughing too. "Get a room." Yeri exclaimed but she's smiling. She's happy to see Joy act like this.

"What are you guys doing here?" Joy's voice is muffled by the pillow that she's hugging close to her face. She's still sleepy and she doesn't want to get up yet. If not for she know that Yeri will make a mess, she wouldn't dare leave her bed.

"We're given a break today." Sungjae answered offering her a bowl of popcorns. Joy took some directing them on Sungjae's mouth that automatically came open before getting some for herself. Hyunsik and Changsub hugged theirselves fake crying. Peniel grunted in disgust. Yeri is the only one enjoying the show. Suga's not minding them. He has his own world.

The two didn't pay attention to them as they are indulged in their own little bubble. "So you mean you're not going out today?" She asked him, still busy feeding the two of them alternately with Sungjae holding the bowl for her to reach. "Yeah." Sungjae answered after gulping down the popcorns. He then handed Joy a glass of milk when he saw her choke a little.

Joy nodded after drinking from the milk still not aware with the public display of affection coming from the both of them. They are quite natural and none of the both of them are aware of what's going on. Only those people who are watching on the sidelines are having an idea of what's the deal.

Yeri clapped her hand distracting the two and earning the attention of the others. "I'm gonna show you some picture of I, Joy and our friends back on our childhood days." She said taking out a picture from her wallet for everyone to see.

Sungjae's mouth fell open upon seeing a familiar kid. The general's daughter. "I know that kid!" He said even standing up.
