Tessa.
Things have been going well of recent.. it's been 2 weeks and with time I hardly thought of Danny. He did not show up in school for like a week and I was informed he had to travel for something urgent.
after much thinking, I spoke to Sarah about making new friends.
Sarah introduced me to few people, some from our class and some from gym section.. she made me sign up for music class.. there was this theatre stuff that was coming up and she said I should try it out.. I told mum and dad and they were all in support.. it's all about socialising.
I, Sarah, rob and Vanessa sat at the cafeteria. Rob and Vanessa were new friends, not really new.. I talk to them at church and they were in my class.. they hanged out more with Sarah... Vanessa happens to be Sarah cousin and rob, Vanessa's boyfriend..
With permission from me, Sarah told them about my illness and made them promise not to tell anyone. They dint treat me any different which I loved about them...
The cafeteria noisy as usual, students playing with food, girls gossiping, and all...
"So thought about what you are gonna sing for the music talent show?" Sarah asked!
"I really don't know. Prolly the Charlie song by Bella thorne.."
"Charlie song?" Vanessa asked sounding confused!
"Babe! Charlie song from midnight sun.. the movie? Remember?" Rob replied
"Oh!!! Yeah the dying girl who sang about her boyfriend.. that's cute.. but you ain't dying .. so don't be a dullard and be a hippie" Vanessa said but was interrupted by Sarah who yelled at her
"Vanessa!! Watch it"
"Am sorry tess!" Vanessa apologised
"It's okay vee! I would rather rethink"
"So what's the hospital doing about your illness, any cure?" Rob asked but stoped as he looked so suprised looking behind me..
" what you doing here" Vanessa attacked.
Looking behind me I almost puked out the milk shake I was sipping as I saw Danny with his food tray about sitting beside me.
"Cool off vee! Can't I get to sit with you guys"
"Nope" Vanessa said popping the p sound
"Be nice Vanessa. And besides I need to get to know my lab partner more... I guess I missed a lot when I was away.. I don't wanna fail." Danny said as he picked a chip off her tray
Vee couldn't do anything but murmur as rob told her to calm down.
"So what did I miss?" Danny asked me
"Nothing really, mr Chris gave us an exemption cause I actually missed school too"
"Ouhhh good girl stabs class too? He said as he made a funny expression
"Nope... I just got stuffs doing!"
"Like?"
I contemplated on telling him about Mr staying home cause I felt a little bit sick but his gonna keep asking questions and I am a very bad liar.
