I sat in class scanning through the room for Tessa. She wasn't in class yet.
On Saturday there was this little house party for me and the guys and I was dared to hit on Tessa, play her for a month or so and then dump her..
I was told she had never had a boyfriend. We have been in the same class since 6th grade. She has been a pretty redhead although she doesn't speak to anyone apart from Sarah. She always dressed all covered up maybe that's due to the fact her dad is a reverend. Her hair always up in a pony tail.
After school she's always indoors, she doesn't attend any party being hosted by a student. I see her more at church and in school. What do u expect she's a freaking church girl.
I know the dare I was given was quiet harsh! Like Tessa hasn't done anything wrong to anyone that I know of.. why not the other school bitches.. why not Amy the queen of bitches .. but then Danny figgers never declines a dare....
My mind drifted off to my first conversation with Tessa. How she looked so innocent and I could swear she's still a virgin. She's a beautiful girl no lies.. but then she's just an ordinary girl and am Danny! And I must get through my dare..
Just about time, Tessa entered the class as Sarah followed right behind her. She scanned through the room. I could see the disgust on her face as she saw Justin and Skye making out. I threw my face away but could see her with my side view as she looked at me and quickly looking away...
Although what she wore was very modest she looked pretty. No makeup on. She is a natural beauty. She settled down, resting her head on her desk and as usual not talking to anyone. I wrote a note and was about passing it to her when Mr Owen came in. I stared at her most time of the class. She's so innocent to be hurt but a man gots to be a man.
The class went by.. I left immediately to the next class. Luckily I found Mr Chris who happens to be the chemistry teacher.
"Morning sire"
"Morning kid! Hope u ain't up for trouble. It's a beautiful Monday morning".
"No Mr Chris. Actually I was hoping if you could help me out with something."
"Go on kiddo" Mr Chris replied as he continued setting up today's apparatus.
"So I was wondering.. today you are giving new partners... can I have a change... you see my mum made me promise I would ace my courses which in return I would choose what collage I want to go to" I said, lying about the mum aspect.
"Ay!. Someone wants to get serious now.. that's good kiddo.. have anyone in mind?"
"Yes! Tessa. I heard she's really good with chemistry.. I would really need her help" I said giving off a cute baby face.
"Tessa. Huh!" Mr Chris exclaimed as he continued. "Why her?"
"She's bright! And intelligent and she would really help a lot" I said ...
Just as I finished speaking some students started entering the chemistry lab.
"A minute sir. I need to use the gent!"
Mr Chris gave a nod as I made my way to the door and then out... after about 5 minutes of wandering about the hallway, I went back to the lab.
Mr Chris was already exchanging pleasantries with the students.
"Alright kiddos let's settle in.... today, there would be a change in lab partners. Today would be as before, same lab partners. But before the end of school today, the list would be out. So make sure u come back and check it out"
There were murmur everywhere in the lab but then it went silent. Tessa sat with Sarah her usual lab partner. She smiled at some words Sarah said to her. She actually look Pretty when smiling.
Chemistry class went smooth, with Mr Chris making everyone giggle and laugh.
Soon it was break. Everyone heading towards the cafeteria. But Tessa stayed behind to talk with Mr Chris.
She wasn't present for launch and I couldn't see her during the last two classes cause they were elective courses..
after the end of school, I headed to the chemistry lab where some students were checking their names and new partners. Everywhere became silent when I approached. I scanned through the list and gave a smile when I saw I was paired with Tessa. I really owe Mr Chris one.

Walking to the parking lot I was stopped by Alex, Cyril and Anderson.
"Danny! So how's the dare going" Cyril said as he tapped my shoulder.
"Hmm. Going good, still at the early stage" I replied as I tried opening the car door.
"Don't fuck this up Danny!" Alex yelled as he hopped into the Anderson car and they drove off.
Thinking about Tessa actually made me smile. But the thought of home suppressed it.... going home to my step mum who is controlling and manipulative.
Bossing everyone around especially my dad.. I miss my mum and my little brother. If I had not driven them that night, they would have still been alive. I was reckless and now I took the life of my sibling and mum.
Ever since they died, things had never been the same. I became arrogant, rude, careless and lost believe in God.. if he really cared, he would have done something.
Listening to Bruno mars song when I was your man..
it made me think about my past relationships, with Amy, Veronica, Linda and Mildred. Well I and Mildred ended things like a month ago when I found out she's been fucking around.
Finally I was home. Dad was at work and Sandra my step mum was out, prolly shopping and wasting dads money. I really had no issue with Sandra.
She's really cool, just her bossy attitude that's not so cool.. looking through the kitchen I warmed up the rice in the fridge ate and went up to my room. Took a quick shower and slumped on my bed.
