I Married A Ninja Vampire?! Part 4

Chapter 4:  The escape

I still on my futon waiting and thinking, should i marry him? But if i did what would happen to me? I grunt and hit my head with my fist. ''Think chizuru, think! Whats the best option..'' I glance over at the tray that a servant left for me and i crawl over there and take a cup of sencha and drink slowly. It's proberly evening now, it feel likes i've been in this room for years, i've been thinking and thinking and i'm still unsure..I don't want to die, but i don't want to live with a ninja vampire, i'm so stuck here i wish grandpa was here. 

Just as i put my sencha down the door slid open and a man with a stubly beard and his hair is in a bob stands in the doorway. ''Stand up'' He said in a demanding voice.

I glare at him ''Why do i have to listen to you? I'm ment to stay here and wait for the ninja vampire leader person'' I hissed at him.

He just chuckles. ''Wow, humans can bite.'' He then gives me a evil glare. ''If you don't wanna die, you would stand up and come with me or do i have to force you?'' Standing up slowly i walk over to him then he grips my arm tightly. ''I'm going to help you get out of here, just do as i say and you will be fine and free got it?''

I'm completely shocked, this man is trying to help me? Well it's better safe then sorry. I nod to him. ''Right, no one is coming down this hallway at the moment so if you carry on down there is a room on the second right, go in there and there is a little hiding place, stay in there until i come in to give you more instructions, don't go anyway, say anything and you will be fine.'' He lets go of my arm and push me towards the hallway. ''Go now'' 

I nod to him and smile. ''Thank you so much..''

He bows to me. ''Don't thank me yet, just go.'' I turn and start to run down the hallway, turn in the second right, run into the room, shut the door shut quietly and turn around to see a long painting on the other side, i walk to it runing my fingers over the edges and it moves slightly so i slide it all the way to find a little hole. I crawl inside and slide the door shut and wait.

I wrap my arms around my knees, i wish i was back in my house with grandpa, this must be a nightmare. Rocking back and forth slowly waiting for the man, i almost jump when i heard the door slide open, i was about to slide open the picture when i heard people enter the room.

''Where is she?! You better say you traitor!'' Shouts a voice, presumeing a ninja.

''I'm telling you i don't know!'' That sounds like that man who helped me, oh my god they caught him, what am i going to do now?!

''You better tell us before the master finds out you let his wife-to-be escape.'' Says takimo, uh oh how did he find out?

''She's not even his wife! Let the poor girl go She deserves better than this!'' Screams the man, he feels sympathy for me?

''I was given orders to get a girl for the master and i did, this is her fate if she chooses it, now tell me where she is befo-'' He is cut off when the door slides open. I pull the picture ever so slightly and peek out and see Kazuma stand in the doorway, his hair is all messy, he is wearing a blue kimono with light blue trousers and tabi sandles. ''I hear you let my wife escape'' He says cooly

The man stands straight. ''Yes i did, and she is not your wife,  she must be let go.'' Kazuma walks to him and grabs him by the neck and lifts him in the air. ''I do not care what she is, i want her as mine and you had the guts to let her go, you must lose your life.''

The man struggles holding where Kazuma is holding him and chokes. ''Tell me where she is.'' Demands Kazuma. 

''N-n-never.'' He chokes out. ''Go..to..hell..'' His face is really red, Kazuma must have him in a tight grip.

I cover my mouth trying not to grunt in horror, he is going to die for my sake!

''I can feel her heartbeat.'' He turns to Takimo. ''Check around this area to find her.'' He commands. 

''Yes master.'' Replyed Takimo and he gives orders to the other ninjas and they run out of the room. Kazuma throws the man on the floor by the picture I'm hiding behind. ''Take him outside and cut off his head.''

''Yes master.'' Takimo grabs the man by the collar of his kimono and drags him out. Kazuma looks around the room then walks out. I let out a sigh of relief and slowly slide the picture open and crawl out. Walking to the door I stop and put my ear against the door and try to listen to any noise but I hear nothing. Convinced no one is out there I slide open the door and walk out slowly, I look left then right then run down the hallway, I almost make it to the end when a hand grabs my stomach pulling me into them and the other hand covers my mouth. I scream and struggle. ''Mhm!'' I try and kick the person but it has no effect.

''Calm down!'' Shouts Kazuma. He lets me go but throws me over his shoulder. ''Gah! Put me down!'' I shout.

''Shut up.'' He says sternly, he walks back to my room, he drops me on the ground. ''Takimo! cancel the search! I found the brat.'' Takimo comes into the room and bows. '' Get me some rope and a cloth'' Commands Kazuma.

''Yes master.'' Takimo leaves the room and returns with a rope and cloth in his hands and then he passes them to Kazuma. He walks behind me and grabs my hands but I jerk them away, spin around on the floor and scoot back but Takimo grabs me.

''Don't move.'' Says Kazuma while he is glaring at me.

''As that poor man said, go to hell!'' I snap at him.

Kazuma grabs me, spins me around, grabs my wrists and brings them behind me then ties my hands together. ''I trusted you to say in this room without leaving untied and you try to escape, so i have to do this, it was silly of you to do that anyway, we will find you.'' He says without emotion.

I wince as he tightens the rope then he pushes a ball of cloth in my mouth and puts and over my mouth and ties it behind me. Takimo kneels and ties my ankles.

Tears roll down my cheek and i close my eyes, i want to be anywhere but here, i want my grandpa with me. 

Kazuma softly touches my cheek rubbing it with his thumb then kissing my forehead gently. I gasped when he kissed me, the only man to kiss me was my grandpa. ''Sorry you have to have a rough night, i will come and check on you later.'' He pushes me down gently on the futon and pulls the covers over me. I realise i'm really tired and i look at my pillow letting my eyelids drop.

I heard Kazuma chuckle slightly. He rubs my head slowly making me tense then relax after, he is really gentle..I take one last look at him then close my eyes and drift to sleep.
