(Skipping to Friday after school)

Anna's POV

After school I dropped Gabby off so she could freshen up and then I went home.

When I got there, I went to my room and took a shower and did all my hygiene stuff. When I got out, I put on some lotion then put on some skinny jeans and the red, white and navy blue jersey Chres gave me on Monday. It's had 'AUGUST' written on the back with his number '01' on the front and back. I tied it with a hair bow in the back then tucked it under because it was to long. I also put on some white Toms to match the jersey. I put on some berry sent perfume and I was ready.

Once I was done, I got some money and tucked it in my pocket. I then got my phone, my car keys, and earphones. Hey. You never know when your gonna need earphones.

I walked down stairs and saw my mom and Dylan watching TV.

"Bye guys." I said as I walked to the door.

"Wait. Can you take me to the game? My cars is um not running well." Dylan asked but I knew he was lying because his voice jumped up about 3 octaves higher.

"Why?" I asked.

"Today is supposed to be 'mommy and Dylan' day. Please just let me go with you please." He whispered.

"Fine little man. But you owe me." I whispered back.

"Thank you." He whispered.

"Ok mom me and Dylan are going to the game."

"But it was suppose to be mommy and Dylan day." My mom said and pouted.

"Mom you know how boys are and there sports. He'll just have to do it another time." I told her.

"I guess your right. Have fun you guys. Wait do you need any money?" My mom asked.

"Um I have $20 now." I said

"And I have $10." Dylan said.

"Well here's $50 each. I know how y'all eat and y'all probably got friends who want something too but don't have any money." She said and got her purse off the lamp table and pulled out four twenties and two tens. She handed us our share of the money.

"Thanks mom." We said in unison and hugged her and headed out the door.

"Have fun." She said as I closed the door and headed to my car with Dylan walking in front of me. He walked to the passenger side and I unlocked the door and we both hoped in.

"Thanks again little sis. I never really liked mommy and Dylan day. I grew out of them like 10 years ago." He said as he buckled his seatbelt.

"No problem. But you need to spend one on one time with her because after everything that happened with dad she need something to hold on to. And that's us. So instead of having mommy and Dylan day like once a month, it might be every two weeks."

"True true." He said.

"Oh. Heads up, I have to pick up Gabby and you might need to sit in the back."

"What! But I was here first an I'm older." He pouted.

"Hey you were never supposed to be here. You were supposed to have be with mom for mommy and Dylan day. It's your fault. And plus, this is my car. What I say goes." I said and chuckled at how childish he look crossing his arms and his lips poked out.

I drove over to Gabby's house and she came running out in Jacob's jersey and and jeans and some red and white converse.

Dylan hopped to the back seat from the front  seat and almost kicked me in the face.
