Chapter 5

Billie's POV

I hear the bell signalling end of period, I grab my phone of the gym apparatus and say goodbye to Frank and Tre. I walk to meet Jessica and Gerard in the library. I smile at girls as I pass them, watching them giggle to their friends. Oh the perks of being me. I see the library door and take a deep breath.

I scan the tables for Gerard. I see him near the back laughing at something Jessica had said. I shake my head reminding myself that is just a bet. He wouldn't actually be laughing at something she said would she? I shrug and then remember is acting skills and smirk.

I walk up to the table they were sitting at. I didn't see any books, they were actually in....conversation.

I plant the tips on my fingers on the edge of the table and stare at both of them,"Make this quick."

I saw Jessica nod quickly and swoop her head to her bag. She silently pulled her books out of rucksack, hair falling in front of her face. Then Gerard piped up from his seat,"No need to be so harsh, Billie."

I could tell he was joking so I gave a small grin and looked back at Jessica. She pulled out the big math text book and opened it carefully flicking a few pages as she found whatever the hell we were meant to be studying.

"You know we could take as long as we want. I mean Belle is coming back to mine afterwards so there is no rush," I saw Gerard lean back in his chair and give me a big smirk. Jessica's head rose from what she was writing down and she narrowed her eyes at Gerard and I. She could sense we were playing some sort of game.

"Ooooo, don't get up to no good. Gerard here is known to have a good time, if you know what I mean," My eyebrows wiggled at Jessica and Gerard. Gerard grinned and got his note book out, Jessica just blushed a tad and gave a small smile. 

"Nah, she's just coming round. Though I'd get to know her a bit more. She likes Black Veil Brides, do i dare say more?" Gerard gives a small chuckle and then smiles warmly at Jessica. Jessica just smiled back and gave a small laugh.

"No you don't," I then clap my hands together and rub them together,"Let's get this over with."

"Woah, hold up. Don't sound too keen," Gerard jokes and gets out his math book out of his plain rucksack.

"Shut it, Way," I laugh and pull out the same books. I glance as Jessica chucks her pen on the table and hands me the note book. She then grabbed the same pencil and pointed out various things.

"These notes are very important for the end of year test. If you ever forget these, you will fail the test and I will be ordering my chocolate milkshake from you at McDonalds. Take this sheet and never lose it. Okay?" She gives me a serious look and tears the page from her book. She puts her pencil back on the table and stares at it for about 2 seconds, shakes her head and hands the sheet to me with a fake smile.

"I've got it. Sheesh woman, I'm not that bad," I say and earn a laugh from her,"Well, not as bad as I was."

"Oh god, don't remind me," She laughs and starts writing out some more notes but for Gerard. She then shakes her head and looks at me. A smile had grown on my face and I was looking at her.

"What? Are you telling me he was worse than what he is now?" Gerard asks with a shocked look on his face. Jessica laughs and so do I.

"Let's just say that he used to flush his homework down the girls toilets and blame that he was getting bullied," Jessica breathes out a laugh and hands the notes she was scribbling down to Gerard. 

Gerard then starts laughing and puts the notes messily in his folder that was bulging from homework that hasn't been done or handed in,"Seriously?"

"Seriously," I say and give a toothy grin.

The librarian then comes over to us and tells us to shut up but was very light on Jessica. She even thought that we were forcing her to sit with us. 

But we ended up getting kicked out of the library so Jess and I went back with Gerard. Mikey had left the car for us to use so we got there pretty quick.

can't believe i'm having fun with a nerd.

A part of me says but another parts says

I have my Jess back.
