I'm not that good!
I don't want to try and fail!
No, I'm not a professional!
My work isn't that nice!
I'm not good at it!
I don't know how!
I can't !

So many times we all use these sentences
So many times we all believe less in ourselves
So many times we fail to see the hidden
So many times we fail to see the light we have
So many potentials left untapped
So many talents left unseen

There are so many things inherent of us
Some we realise and some we don't
Some people are lucky enough to find out early
The rest, not so much
But even those who find out hardly trust their capabilities
They hardly genuinely believe they can be the best at what they do
They don't believe they can turn something ordinary into something great

Some people were born with the same potentials as you
Maybe not the exact same but something close because no two persons are ever the same completely
What should separate you from the lot is what you believe in
It should be how much confidence you possess in what you do
How you present your worth
How you table your opinions
How you turn the ordinary into the brilliant
The dull into the shiny
Find what sets you apart!

If everyone keeps their potential hidden
Or don't even try to find what their place in the world is supposed to be
We'd keep going about without fulfilling purpose
We'd keep going at life the dull uninteresting way
There'd be no specials
No brilliance
No difference
And without variety, the world becomes bleary

Why not try to find your place today
Why not try to find that which sets you apart from the rest
We all know we are special from the rest
But do we know why?
Do we know what gives us our uniqueness?
Do we know what makes us so powerful?

Sometimes even the people who know their potentials try
They try so hard
So hard to showcase what they've got
And sometimes they fail
Sometimes they get hurt
Sometimes it just doesn't work out
But we've got to know that not everything goes smoothly
There are some bumps everyone of us has to go through sometimes
And that doesn't mean you're not special
That just shows you're human
And it's going to take a second or a third or even so many more for the world to see how beautiful what you've got is
Don't let that deter you
Don't let it kill that shine
Don't let it make you bitter
Or make you cower

You're strong
You're talented
You've got what it takes
You've got so much inside of you to show
You've got so much to tell in your own way
Don't let anything kill that
Don't let it take it away from you
It's not worth it
If you've found your way, keep at it
If you haven't, keep trying
It'll pay off
You've got potential
Take that and make it into something bigger!

I hope we all find ways to make the world more beautiful
A little at a time
In our own special ways
Don't be a drop in the ocean
Be the entire ocean in a drop
Make uniqueness a part of you
Glow and shine so bright
Own your own special
Own your potentials
Own your imperfections
And make them into perfections
Let people wonder what makes you different
And let them be amazed when they look closely and eventually find out
Be worth the search!

Do what makes you happy
Don't allow the fear of failure make you a bitter person
Turn your potentials into beautiful work and then take time to pat yourself on the back
You're much more than what people say
You're whatever you set your mind to be

Find yourself in a world where everyone's losing themselves!
Stand out when everyone's striving to blend on!
Be the light when everyone's hiding in the dark!
Be a gem in a world of pebbles!
