I used the pokedex to check on Charmander's abilities.
"Look Charmander, it says that you can use 'Ember' but you can also learn 'Fire Spin', 'Fire Blast' & 'Flamethrower'. Also that your little flame tells us that you are in good health."
"Charmander." 'Interesting'
"Charmander, can I give you a nickname?"
"Char" 'Nickname?'
"Okay, I'm thinking about calling you 'Aki'."
Charmander gave me another hug.
"Am I Too Late?!" Ash shouted.
'Finally, Ash is here.'
" Ash, why are you still in your pajamas?"
"I didn't want to be late. Why didn't you wake me up, Amanda?" Ash asked.
" I tried but you sleep like a log."
Ash got Pikachu as his starter Pokémon because he was late.

"Almost done Amanda," Ash replied.
"Mom, do you want to meet Charmander?"
"I would love to," Mom replied.
I brought Charmander out of his Poké Ball.
"Charmander" 'Yes Mama?'
"He's so adorable." Mom said.
Charmander saw my mom and wanted her to pick him up.
