Lia.

I stood on the sand at the brim of the ocean and felt the cool water run up my feet as a wave rolled in. I was glad today was a godd day, Seattle was meant to be this place that rains constantly. I guess it was just luck?

Micahel was already in, his T-shirt, jeans and shoes in a messy pile as he ran into the cold water, his tropical swimming shorts flowing in the wind. That sounds freaking ridiculous. I was hugged from behind and I turned round.

Parker was smiling as he watched Michael attempt to get past a wave and get deeper in. "Wanna go in?" He asked as he let go of me. I nodded and glanced at everyone else behind Parker's shoulder.

Maddie and Stacy were setting up their sunbathing spots and some of the guys were playing football (soccer), some of them were playing volleyball and others hadn't quite reached it to the beach yet.

Parker was now only wearing his black and white swimming shorts as he waited for me to get into my swimming stuff. I pulled my top over my head and slipped out of my shoes as I did so. I then slipped out of my shorts and picked the items up.

"I'm gonna put these up here, I don't want to get them wet" I told Parker and he nodded, picking up his clothes. We walked up the the sun loungers and I put my clothes on one of them, giving a quick smile at Brayden, Ryan Stacy and Maddie who were chatting.

My waist was then grabbed and I was flung onto someone's shoulder. Twice in one day, fabulous. "Oh, com on, Parker!" I exclaimed as I saw the pasty white back of Parker. I felt him shrug and start running towards the ocean.

Before I knew it, I was flung off of Parker's shoulder and into the cold water. "HOLY QUACAMOLE!" I yelled out as i felt the cold water surround my body. Damn, Australia's water is like freaking kettle water compared to this.

"I Know, right?" Parker asked, resurfacing from the water. I kicked my legs in order to stay up. Again, another annoying problem of being short. Parker was easily standing up straight and I was swimming to stay up. "You're so short"

"Hey! Shut up, giant!" I teased, poking his stomach. He rolled his eyes at me and I laughed, shoving him slightly as I began to swim backwords. When I was in High School ( A/N I don't know what you guys go by but I go- Nursery, Primary, High School- so sorry if this confuses any of you! ) I was a competitive swimmer, so i was pretty good.

"I'm hardly a giant, you're just so short!" He called and I laughed, continuing to swim away from him. I stopped swimming to see I was pretty far from the shore so I swam in a little. Everyone now seemed to be in the water except Jordan.

I furrowed my eyebrows, wondering why he didn't come in the water, and began to swim towards him. "Hey Jordan!" I greeted him and he looked away from whatever he was looking at to look at me. "How come you're not swimming?" I asked.

"I uhh.." He paused, rubbing the back of his neck. It seemed when boys were nervous or something when they do this sort of this. "I can't swim" He looked up at me from his place on the sand and I smiled at him. "I know, it's stupid." he looked down yet again.
