carters p.o.v 

i lead the pack to derek's meeting hall waiting for the alpha to arrive the pups are running a muck "silents" i roared having a slight headache "sorry alpha" the pups whispered together "just keep the volume down please" i smiled as they all sat down in rows as derek and noah walked into the room 

"i want the truth" noah growled walking up to me "about what exactly" i asked not wanting to piss noah off to much "about your so called twin" noah said folding his arms just like his father would as far as i know he is still alive 

"he was a kind person he hardly fought with anyone but something in him changed when your mother came to live with victor and i we got into fights he would try and hit your mother but i always got in the way of that and i had enough so we started to fight the only way anyone can tell him apart from me is the scar on his left shoulder that was from when i attacked him" i explained

"alice said he locked you in the basement and would let you out when you were wasted is that true" derek asked standing next to noah "not exactly i have no idea where she got that from actually where is alice" i said turning back to the pack "yeah she's dead" eli said walking into the hall "why is that eli" i asked raising an eyebrow "she's a snitch that's why she was going to tell victor our plane he doesn't know were here" maddox explained holding lilly's hand 

"i see thank you join the others i will be there to see you all soon" i said looking back at noah and derek "so what is the truth about that" derek asked "i was never let out i was forced to watch you and your sister suffer and you mother be abused by a man that i thought was kind but i soon figured out it was all an act" i said 

"do you know where mum is" noah asked hoping he knows anything "i have heard she took refuge in the black banes pack i don't know for sure but i believe your father is there as well" i said "do you know what his name is" blaire asked standing in her mates arms "zayan" i said sitting down on the floor 

"the werewolves look up to his as a king your saying he is our father" noah said suprised that zayan is his father "they do and for good reason his eyes glow silver blaire got that from him and you got his strengh and i cant forget his anger anyone who knows his could easily tell you both were his kids" i smiled as my phone started ringing "sorry but i have to take this before your father hunts me down and kills me just for not picking up his call" i smirked picking up

zayan: what took you so long

me: not even a hello how rude

zayan: i asked you a question

me: i was talking to noah and blaire you children 

zayan: there alive 

me: yeah they are do you want to speak to them 

zayan: no thank you i want to speak to about the war your twin waged on blaire 

me: i don't know when he will attack but i know it is soon 

zayan: there is a ball at black banes pack in 3 days bring blaire and noah with you that is all goodbye

me: i shell see you there goodbye

"well" derek asked wanting to know what we talked about "the black banes pack hold a ball every 2 years and there is one in 3 days times and zayan have invited us when we get there we will discuse the war" i said putting my phone away 

"i don't want to go looking for a dress again and the babies are nearly ready to arrive" blaire said looking up at her mate "we can see sally before we leave" derek smiled kissing blaires forehead 

time skip to the start of the trip....

derek's p.o.v

"sally said we still have about a week before the kids are here so we should be okay" i said putting some of the suit cases into one if the pack trucks "that's good news then" carter said handing me blaire's bag "yeah it is but answer me this why has zayan never looked for his daughter and son" i asked 

"he has looked it wasn't until i called him 2 months ago that he knew blaire and noah were alive i told him to go see them but something happened and he couldn't also he blamed himself for blaire noah and there mother going into hiding eric agreed to be their father to hide them after my twin tried to kill noah" carter explained 

"he doesn't sound like a great father to me" i growled slamming the boot of the car "as if your father was any better" carter yelled catching the attachin of blaire and noah "zayan may not of been there for blaire or noah but he loved them with all his heart when they had to leave he was broken not even his own mate could help him he has been wishing with all his heart to see his children again and he finally can so you have no right to speak badly of him" carter said

"cool it both of you" blaire growled looking at me "weather zayan looked for noah or i, it doesn't matter alright i couldn't care less if he looked or not i just want to see my birth father and learn what's it's like to be in a family now get in the car or noah and i will go ourselves and leave you both behind" blaire said getting into the car

"did you really have to say that derek" blaire said looking at me once i had gotten into the car "i'm sorry blaire i guess i keep thinking of my father and how he treated me i just wish my father gave to shits about me" i whispered looking at my lap
