Sitting in the castle lounge, Lucy and her Kings, as well as the two Magis, were gathered together in their regular meeting place where they often talked over documents but most of the time, it was just a chat of how their days had been going. Plopped up on the couch, Wu Kong threw a stack of documents down.
"Can I leave now?" he groaned.
"Can you not complain and actually do some work?" Tomoyo looked down on him. "Honestly, the only things that you can do is eat and sleep and nothing else. As expected of a monkey," she sneered.
"At least I'm not some bratty princess who just keeps on swooning over Lucy," Wu Kong retorted.
"Wha-?!" Tomoyo widened her eyes before baring her teeth at him as flames erupted between the two.
"Now, now," Kaede said, tired of having to stop the two from breaking out into a fight every single time. "This is the office room. No matter how big this room is, that's no reason to break out into fights. Tomoyo, stop making comments that'll purposely get him angry and Wu Kong, just ignore her and don't argue back."
"Exactly, monkey," Tomoyo gave an evil smirk. "You're older. Shouldn't you be acting your age?"
"Well, maybe you should also start acting your age and respecting your elders. Besides, no matter how mature you are, it won't change the fact that your physique is still that of a child's," Wu Kong mocked at her, pointing towards her somewhat flat chest.
Kaede sighed and turned back to the documents as Hakuren stifled his laughter, clutching his stomach as he did so. No matter how many times the two argued, their arguments were always new and fresh and there was no way he could get tired of it.
"Hakuren, you're laughing too much," Kaede pointed out.
"S-Sorry!" he continued to shake and laugh.
"Hakuren-sama!" Tomoyo glared at him.
Wiping a tear away from his eye, he looked at the two in amusement. "I'm surprised how the two of you never get tired of fighting with each other. It's like you two are an old married couple or something."
"If I had to say something, it would be how you never get tired of laughing at them in amusement," Hakuyuu sighed as he continued to check and stamp the stack of papers in front of him.
"M-Married couple?!" the two gasped in shock, lightning flashing in the background.
"Who'd want to get married to such a monkey like him?!" Tomoyo pointed at him. "There's no way in a hundred years would I ever get married to him!"
"You think I'm interested in this little princess?!" Wu Kong pointed at her. "Please. My type of woman is totally different from her."
"Then what's Wu Kong-niisan's type of woman?" Aladdin asked with a smile, curious.
Wu Kong thought about it. "Hmmm...maybe Lucy?" he looked her way.
At that comment, everyone perked up and Lucy, too, after a moment, stopped moving her pen and looked up in question, wondering what the silence was about. She tilted her head, clueless, and blinked her eyes.
"What's wrong?"
Masrur, who stood behind Lucy, immediately narrowed his eyes as a rumbling could be heard in the background. His expression immediately grew dark and Wu Kong averted his gaze, a bead of sweat rolling down his face. He knew that even if Masrur had that kind of expression, Lucy was his ideal type of woman as well.
Well, his taste isn't bad to say in the least, Kaede thought with a chuckle.
If I had to say, Lucy's my ideal type as well, Hakuyuu smiled softly.
