Kim Tae-Jung's POV
Today I know is going to be interesting. I start walking to school, and when I start walking on the road, Lee Hyun-Ae runs up beside me.
"Hey." She says.
"Hey." I reply. I pause, then say, "Since when are you like.. That?"
She looks up at me. "Like what?"
"Like you've been doing this since forever." I say.
She looks forward again. "I don't see a problem with that."
I smirk. "Me neither."
Hyun-Ae suddenly drops her head, making her face not visible. I look around and see people whispering and pointing.
"So now you're noticeable?" I whisper.
"Unfortunately..."
"Just ignore them. Some day they will give up and move on to other things."
"The present time bothers me." She whispered back, looking up.
I feel sorry for her. She's not used to all of this.
Lee Hyun-Ae's POV
Oh my gosh. THEY'RE ALL STARING AT ME.
Okay, I'm just being hysterical.
"So now you're noticeable?" I hear him say.
"Unfortunately..." I reply. He keeps talking, but I subconsciously say something I don't remember. There was a pause. I focus on the sounds of the voices.
"....seriously?..."
"....love...."
"...that dork...."
"..he's mine....."
I blink back tears. He must have seen that because then, his hand touched mine and enveloped into a hand-hold. I flinch but allow him to do it. I kinda need it right now.
Once we get to school, he squeezes my hand then lets go. I decide to sit on a bench and read, but halfway there, I hear footsteps walk towards me. I turn around and see Park Seo-Yeon and her followers, Kim Ye-Eun and Kim Min-Seo. At the bench I sit down and let out a subtle groan.
"What do you want, Park Seo-Yeon?"
"You know what I want? I want a boyfriend. And right now, you're stealing him."
I sort of tilt my head but then I realize she's talking about Tae-Jung. "Um. Him? We're just friends..." I say looking down. She was wearing pink high-heels and Kim Ye-Eun was wearing red flats. I couldn't see Min-Seo's.
Seo-Yeon kind of smacks the bottom of my chin, forcing me to look up. "Yeah. Sure. Well, stay away from him. He's mine." And with that, she walked away. It could have been way worse. What's more worse is that she has straight A's and the teachers LOVE her. She can get away with about anything, and she is extremely grandiose! So many boys like her, surprisingly. I saw her walk over to Tae-Jung, leaving her companions behind. I expected an argument, but there was none.
Seo-Yeon LOVES Tae-Jung. It doesn't worry me. I know HE doesn't like HER. No sympathy.
I see Seo-Yeon trying to hold hands with him and I put my book in my bag. Tae-Jung takes a step back and Seo-Yeon takes a big step towards him. I zip my bag hastily and purposefully slowly walk past them. I hear their conversation, and Seo-Yeon probably wants to go on a date with Tae-Jung. They glance at me for a fraction of a second, but I don't glance back. I slightly brush against Tae-Jung's shoulder then head towards class. I can tell he hesitates then parts ways with Seo-Yeon. She let out a "hmph" then walked off opposite of Ye-Eun and Min-Seo.
In class, I sit behind Tae-Jung (who I decide to call Tae or Taetae) ((-Not related to BTS BTW-)). I just noticed that his hair is usually grey, but today it's black with orange-blond streaks on top. I want to touch it ^^
What? It's mesmerizing.
Today was interesting. I wasn't very much focusing on school, but instead I was focusing on you-know-what. Or who...
