Regret (Cross x Nightmare)

Chapter 1:I regret falling in love with HIM

Cross walk in the dark halls.Many thoughts have wondered in Cross's head.'Should I do it?'he thought,'Should I talk to him...' He thought again as he frowned thinking about it.'Maybe he won't hurt me again' He thought reassuring himself.

Cross is Nightmare's servant.Nightmare is the King of Nightmares,he spread fear and misery to others.Cross met him when Nightmare save him from his corrupted land in return to be his servant.Cross has developed feeling for him and have fallen in love.Cross have tried to impress him,he usually calls him 'senpai' but it would always end up bad for Cross but he is determine to win Nightmare's heart even if he would suffer the consequences.

'Yeah I should talk to him besides there always a chance' Cross said smiling."Geeh,I really feel sorry for you Cross." A voice which sounds familiar to Cross "Come on,Chara it might work" Cross said in a cheerful tone. Chara rolled his eyes "Well what ever don't come crying to me if your worthless plan is gonna be a downfall again." Chara said as he went inside Cross's body.

Cross rolled his eyes and continue on walking in the dark halls.'What if Chara's right what if the plan will be a downfall' Cross thought worrying what Nightmare will do to him.Cross slapped himself.'No,Cross don't think about that it might work' Cross said smiling.

Cross quickly rush down the halls and immediately went in front of Nightmare's front door.Cross stood in front of the taking a deep breath and opened the door slightly checking on Nightmare.Cross took a quick peek and saw Nightmare writing down plan in his blueprints.

Cross took a deep breath.'Ok,Cross just stay calm and do what you normally do...' Cross thought.Something hurts in Cross's chest as he remembered what Nightmare has done to Cross.It always hurt Cross but Cross always think that Nightmare will someday love him but  it never came.

Cross came in to the room and jump over Nightmare."Heya Senpai~" Cross said flirtatiously.Nightmare was surprised that he accidently ripped the blueprints.Nightmare was furious.Cross took notice to this and Cross quickly got scared.He quickly got down and said "I'm sorry Nightmare I didn't mean it I was j-" Cross was cut off by a tentacle wrapping around his throat making Cross choke.

Cross was being pulled close to Nightmare.Cross can see anger in his eyes.Cross was choking he couldn't breath.

"ENOUGH IS ENOUGH CROSS I'M SO TIRED OF YOU!" Nightmare yell.Gripping his tentacle on Cross's neck.Tears were pouring on Cross's face.

"S-se-" The tentacle on Cross's neck gripped tighter.

"Shut it!Shut your Fucking mouth!I'm tired of you!All your stupid flirts,you calling me 'senpai', your overall desperate behavior,I HATE ALL OF IT,I HATE YOU!I shoudn't have left you in Fucking universe to die because you're just a mistake and always will be.Just look at you a skeleton who lost everything crying like a pathetic piece of shit you really are!You stupid Bitch!Just vanish!You should know no one will miss you because nobody loves you! You're just a mistake!Cause I sure in hell I won't!I'll be finally be happy if you just DIE"Nightmare yelled in one hurtful tangent.Cross cried and struggle to get out of Nightmare's grasp but it didn't work

Nightmare then stabbed Cross in his chest making Cross scream out of pain.Nightmare then came close to Cross.He lift his shirt and starts to destroy Cross's ribs.Cross yelled in pain.

"N-nightmare p-please stop..."Cross said fear in his eyes.Nightmare ignore what he said and stab Cross multiple time using his tentacles.Cross was crying and yelling at Nightmare to stop but Nightmare continue to hurt Cross.Nightmare took his heart-shaped locket from his neck and immediately broke it he threw it to the ground and stomp on it.It was shattered into pieces like Cross's heart.

Cross had enough and quickly teleported away leaving Nightmare alone in his room.Nightmare didn't care.He didn't care for Cross.He wouldn't care if he die,Nightmare never care for his presence he want him gone.

With Cross...

Cross sat in his corrupted Au,X-tale.Crying in pain from all the wounds,cuts and bruises especially his locket he held close to remembering his family.Cross can't move.His body is numb,his eyes puffy and sore from all the crying.

Then he heard a portal opening.Cross thought it was Nightmare wanting to hurt him again.Cross once again cried.Cross was afraid of Nightmare he doesn't want to see him again.

"C-cross" A familiar voice called to him.It wasn't Nightmare it's voice is cute.Cross then realize it was Nightmare's brother,Dream.

"D-dream"Cross said in a weak and broken voice.He heard footsteps coming closer to him then heard a gasp.

"W-what happened to you!?"Dream said worried as he grab Cross's hand and look him at his eyes.Cross blushed a little.

"I-it's nothing..."Cross said holding Dream's hand."N-no you're not your  hurt!"Dream yelled.Cross ignore Dream and tried teleporting away but he felt pain in his body and dropped to the ground.Dream was worried and decided to help Cross.Dream quickly made cross lay down and immediately heal Cross.

After a while Dream was finished healing Cross.Cross quickly stood up and look at his hands and arms but they were healed.Cross said "Thank you" smiling at him.Dream immediately stood up and grab Cross's hand.Dream took a deep breath.

"Cross what happened?"Dream ask looking at Cross.Dream notice his heard-shaped locket was gone."What happened to your-"Dream was cut off by the quiet sobs.He look at Cross and see him crying.Dream hug Cross tightly as Dream was comforting him while he can still Cross cry and whimpers and saying 'Im sorry' or 'Please don't hurt me'.Dream pitied him and kept comforting him.

A few seconds pass and Cross finally come down.Cross look at Dream with teary and then explain what happened.Dream hugged him and said "I'm so sorry that happened between you and my brother but don't cry Cross I'll be here" Dream said smiling at him which made Cross blush.Cross looked away the smiled back at Dream.

"Thank you,Dream..." Cross said.Many thoughts came in Cross's head and he was thinking if he would come back to Nightmare's castle or be with Dream a little bit more though Cross remembered what Nightmare had done to him.The abuse,the torture and how he broke Cross's heart.Cross put his hand on his chest it really hurt whenever he remember those awful words.

'How could he...he broke me and my locket why did I fall in love with him all he does is abuse and torture me I regret it'Cross balled his hands into fist in anger.

'I REGRET FALLING IN LOVE WITH HIM'

I look back at Dream and he look back to me as well."Dream,is it alright if I could hang out with you a little bit?"Cross asked.Dream smiled and nods in agreement.He open up a portal and held out a hand to me,I grab his hand and we walk through the portal.I feel so happy around him.I love his smile and how kind he is to me even if we are enemies.
