Authors POV
After doing their own thing for breakfast the girls went up to their rooms and decided to continue the relaxing day. But the time lunch came around most of the girls had actually either worked out or done something extra. So they decided to just make quick sandwiches. Each of the girls cut up some vegetable and place them in a bowl. They then took turns making their own sandwiches.
This week it was Amber and Taylor's turn for chores so they did the dishes once everyone was done eating. While the girls did the dishes the other girls decided to do some laundry of their own.
Once all the dishes were put away and the laundry was finished the girls decided that it would probably help if they looked around the camp grounds for a while. So together they grabbed light jackets from the coat closet since it was getting later in the day and walked out and locked the house.
It took them a while but they found the lunch hall and training fields and sparing rooms pretty easily. Although they were on the other side of where their cabin was it was pretty obvious which building housed most of the activities. They also found a small clearing out in the surrounding forest and small beach near the east side of the lake.
Seeing that it was getting colder and later the girls hustled back to the cabin and prepped dinner. They made tortilla bowls. Leaving Amber and Taylor to clean the dishes the girls put the left overs away in the fridge and cleared of the table.
The girls went up to bed and got changed and went to sleep. Those who needed to shower setting their alarms for 6:30 and others setting their alarms for 7:00.

Monday morningWhen Monday morning came around all six girls were up and ready by 7:30 since breakfast started at 8:00. They would just be doing intro and tours today so the girls dressed causally jeans and tops but saved the workout gear for later.
They all walked down to the dining hall together and sat down at a small round table. The table had waffles, eggs, hash brown, and bacon along with some orange juice. They all grabbed a plate and began to eat breakfast. Emma came up to them and tried to start something but they all just ignored her, already pissed that they had to spend their whole summer here bc of her father.
At 8:45 the counselors came to each respective tables. The lovely mrs. Crascaw, came over in neon polka dot shirt and white jeans. She handed out each of the girls schedules and told them that the schedule would remain the same for the two months. The only thing that would change was the intensity or expert level of the classes they took.

10:00: lights outAfter comparing schedules and seeing who was in what class the girls headed back to their cabins before the aptitude test for each activity after lunch. It was 10:00 by the time they got back. They changed into their swim suits put on a pair of leggings and T-shirt over it. They each packed a small bag with snacks, water, and sunscreen. By the time they were ready it was 11:30, so they walked over to the mess hall with all their stuff.
After lunch the girls and the rest of the students went to the gym to begin the aptitude test. Each person was taken into a room with an instructor and tested on each physical skill. A score was recorded by the teacher to determine initial sparing partners and group members for activities. This took up until dinner.
The kids were all directed to the mess hall where they were given burritos and quesadilla for dinner. With that done all the kids were instructed to go back to their cabins and rest for the night.
Once the girls got back they agreed because of the swim test all the activities they did tonight that everyone should have the option for showering both morning and night.
Vanessa and Amaya decided that since Amaya woke up earlier to shower in the morning she would get to shower earlier at night so she could get in more sleep. Jackie and Mackenzie decided much the same. Taylor and Amber as well. With that settled they headed to bed, changed into their pjs and went to sleep.

Tuesday morning:With the start of a new day the girls followed their new routine and got ready the days' activities. So as to not get their clothes wet they settled on bringing the swim suits in their bags and changing in the locker rooms during the 15 minute transition periods.
Amaya, Vanessa, and Taylor went to training grounds after breakfast and the other three went to the lecture hall. Right before lunch they would meet up in the clearing and walked to the hall together. They later separated for their activities only to meet for dinner and the following activities for the night.
This is how the rest of their two months went. Following a basic routine as they learned new skills and techniques.
However each of the girls struggled in their own right. As each birthday came and passed, each girl struggled to comprehend the behind their new markings and the powers that came with them.
