Taylor POV

I tried to look for my sister, but I could get myself to move from my curled up position on the grass. The pain was slowly receding, but it brought back memories of when my brother broke in and punched me trying to knock me out and take our things.

I'm really sorry you went through that, but I need you to focus and breath.

Who are you?

Who am I will be revealed in a minute. But I need your help to do so. Because if you don't you are going to feel a pain a whole lot worse that this in a couple of minutes.

I can't. I won't be able to come back from it and the memories of it.

Then you need to listen to me and follow what I say. It's crucial you get this right okay?

Okay. I have a ton of questions but I can't handle any more of this.

Picture a clear wall.

Okay. I can see a clear glass wall.

Now imagine the same between the glass panes filling with water in many different colors and waves.

On my. This is so beautiful. It's like an ocean of so many blues.

It is isn't it? Now I need you to find the brightest most royal blue in that sea. Can you see it? Can you hold onto it?

Uh, yeah, but it's so tiny. Shit it disappeared again. How much time do I have left?

Not too much. You really need to...

Ahhh!!! I can't. I can't. Just leave me here to die.

You and I are both going to die if you don't get up right now.

I just can't. The pain, the anger, the frustration are too much!

Don't bottle it up here. You aren't protecting anyone at all here. You are only hurting yourself and by hurting yourself you are hurting everyone else along with you.

What do you mean hurting everyone else?

You must have felt the bond. You die, they all die. Now get up and help!

Ahhhhh!!!

I found the bright royal blue strand near my left leg and I kicked out as hard as I could. Within seconds, the wall crumbled to pieces and dark red colored wolf ran out to me.

Are you okay?

Yeah you?

I am.

The wolf looked at me through determined royal blue eyes that seemed to glow.

Now, who are you?

My name is Sia. I am your wolf and you are a werewolf. You now posses a strength that overcomes any of your pain and fears. The weaknesses you hide from, use those to bolster your strength. You are one of six of the most powerful wolves alive, an elemental. You are prepared to face any and all pain and I will be there with you and fight with you. Be ready.

For what?

This.

The pain struck me to the core, pulling be apart and snapping me together. What felt like eons, was mere seconds as I shifted and stretched out my new body. I slowly opened my eyes and looked behind me at my wagging red tail.

Welcome to the pack.
