Amaya POV
After what felt like hours the six of us finally managed to sit up. We each scooted back until we lay back against a tree. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath trying to ease the pain still radiating from my shoulder. I tried to relax into the pain, hoping that might help. It's what I had done when I got hurt training on the mats at the gym.
God what could be causing this?
You've got be smarter than that.I shot upright and grimaced. Settling back down I looked around at the others having their own breathing session. Trying to deal with the sudden pain.
Uh hello pay attention here you need to take that wall down quick before I go permanently mute. Hello...
God please tell me I'm imagining this and I haven't suddenly developed a cases of the crazies.
Yeah how about we debate about your sanity after I'm no longer on the brink of death hmm?
Um okay I guess. You said something about a wall or...
Yeah just close your eyes and imagine a clear glass wall in your head. You got it?
I have to be certifiable if I'm actually doing this but what have I got to lose?
Everything really but hurry up would you.
Geez shit up for a minute while I figure this out.
Fine
Okay I got it. Is it supposed to be all rainbow like and reflective?
Good you've already got the next step. Now find the gold light if you'd please.
What? Gold light? That ish is like a tiny speck.
Oh good you found it. Now simply punch through where that light is and we'll be golden. Pun intended.
You want me to mentally punch through glass. How do I know that it won't shred me huh?
You'll have to trust me then won't you?
I will literally kill you if this shit doesn't work.
Well you'd be killing yourself so I mean up to you really.
What?!?
It will all make more sense in a second if you'd be so kind as to do as your told.
I will flipping...
Yeah yeah yeah, main, mince, murder... got it. Now get to it.
Fuck you. Why shouldn't I let you just fade away huh? I don't need any extra bossy entitled entities in my life thank you very much.
Ah there we go. There's the snarky girl I know.
You don't know shit.
This is gonna hurt like a bitch it you don't hurry it up.
Why would... aaaaaahhhh. What the hell.
Yeah that's what it feels like when half of you is dying so put on your big girl panties and punch through that god forsaken wall!!
Anything to stop this pain... ahhhhh....The glass shatters as I punch through and a midnight black wolf walks up to me and stares at me with eyes that mirror kaleidoscopes. On its forehead were markings that mirrored the ones on my shoulder.
Well you took your own sweet time about that
I... you...wolf...marking...what?
Let's see if I can't fill in those blanks for you. I am Aurora. You are Amaya and we are bound together finally. Yes you are part wolf and in fact are a werewolf. The markings signify that you are an elemental wolf to be exact. One of six. I'm guessing you can figure out who the others are. Rather ironic you all ended up together here. Timing kinda sucks but no point dwelling on that. You need to open your eyes and get moving if you want to live to see the next day m'kay.
I... what? Okay, since I value my life I'm going to let the fact that you just dropped that bomb and deal with shit I'm guessing is in front of me first.
Smart choice. But before you do that I'm about to drop a couple more bombs as you so eloquently put just now.
What more could there.... fuuuuuuuuuudge!!!I hold my head trying to filter through all the images passing through me right now as I feel my bones crack and pain radiates all through me. In an instant I feel like nothing but a ball of pain and the next I land on four paws. My eyes snap open and I glare out into the opening. Everything is sharper, I feel stronger.
Welcome to the pack.
