The next morning, a very confused Alexia woke up in the arms of the boy she met yesterday, the thudding of his heartbeat in her ear. Zach was still sleeping, and she was lent on his chest with his arm over her waist.
Yesterday's events came flooding back to the teen, and she couldn't help but smile. The pair had been in the girls' airbnb and had been watching a film together when they must have fallen asleep and the others left.
Alexia sat up to reach over to grab her phone, only to see it spammed from the night before. She tapped on the messages from the new groupchat she was in and read through all the messages. Smiling, she scrolled up until she reached the picture, making her smile even more.
"Lexi??" Alex heard Zach say, and she looked over as he yawned and opened his eyes. "Hey." he said, and pulled her back from her sitting position so she was laid back down again.
"Hey." She smiled, and laughed when Zach made a face at her phone, glancing down at the groupchat's messages.
"Is that us?" Zach asked, and upon seeing Alex nod, his face broke into a smile, which he hid by looking away. Alex sat up, stretching.
"I should change." She said, and just as she did, a text from Daniel said to meet them at their room to go to breakfast. Zach told her this, causing her to start hurrying, Zach watching as she ran around, laughing.
Alex practically ran into her room, and quickly showered and changed into a yellow plaid skirt/shorts thing and a white crop top with some Doc Martens and quickly did her hair and makeup before going back into the other room, where Zach was waiting on his phone.
"Let's go?" Alex said, and looked down self-consciously as Zach looked at her, his mouth slightly forming a 'o'.
"You look pretty." Zach said, as he got up off the couch, and going to stand next to her.
"Thanks." Alex replied, blushing and looked down. And then, Zach slid his arm around her waist and kissed her on the cheek before silently leaving the airbnb.
