"So currently, Alex is suffering long-distance syndrome." Mia started, holding a small camera up in front of her. "And as this is out first vlog/youtube video, me and Luna thought we would help her be happy."
"Long-distance syndrome is where you are in a relationship, and it is long distance, and you really miss your boyfriend/girlfriend," Luna explained, and Mia nodded. The two girls, who were willing to do anything to cheer up their best friend, had created a list of things to do to complete that and giving her something to do other then school was one of them.
So Mia went out, and purchased a camera, as Luna created their joint YouTube account, and experimented with different editing software, as she would be the one editing the videos. They did this with Alex not knowing, and she only did find out when she went to her favorite cafe the next day, moaning how awful having her dad in the house was.
"What's this?" Alex asked, sitting down at the table, and picking up the camera, which Mia had attached one of those fluffy microphones onto.
"We are becoming vloggers." Mia explained, and then told Alex her and Luna's whole plan, and after a couple of moments of contemplating and persuading, Alex agreed to do it.
"And, we decided, that for our first video, why not do one of your favorite things, go shopping and do a haul." Luna said, smiling at her best friends.
And in that moment, Alex realized her best friends were the most sweet, caring, amazing people in the world and she swore to herself that she would start to appreciate it more often.
So the trio got in Mia's car and drove to Lenox Square, their favorite mall. They spent ages looking around at different stores, getting the most things from Lush, Forever 21, Urban Outfitters and a couple of things from both Victoria Secret and the Vans store.
Then, Alex being Alex, she insisted that the stopped at Chipotle on the way back. So, filled with Chipotle, they arrived at Mia's apartment, and filmed the rest of their video.
