Monday
I woke up early. I ate breakfast and wore my new uniform. I checked the time. It's time to go!
Kai POV
I checked the time on my phone. Oh shit! I'm late! I ran to the bathroom and fix my hair and brushed my teeth. I put my uniform on and ran to school.
Sadya POV
I walked inside the school. Everybody was staring at me. I ignored it and went into the school office.
"Oh hello! You must be Sadya." A woman in her fifties smiled brightly at me.
"Yes I am. It's nice to meet you." I mirror her back.
"Yes. Me too. I'm going to be your teacher for this year. I'm Ms.Lee. Come follow me." She lead me the way to her classroom. She opened the door. It was noisy in there. Ms. Lee clapped her hands. "Attention everyone! We have a new student. So please be quiet and sit on your assigned seats!" Everybody stopped chattering and went to their seats. "Introduce yourself."
"Hello my-.." I was about to introduce myself but then someone opened the door loudly catching everyone's attention. It's him. The girls starts squealing and the some of the guys looks annoyed. He walks to his seat that was on the back of the row and sat down slouching his body.
"Kai you're late again! And plus you just interrupted Sadya's introduction!"
So his name is Kai? I smiled at her. "It's okay Ms.Lee."
"You can start again." She glare at him.
"Hello! My name is Sadya. It's nice to meet you guys. I am from the United States." I bow. "I hope I get to know each and everyone of you. Let's get along." The students starts whispering. I'm guessing it's because I said I was from the United States.
"Okay. You can sit by..." She looked around the room. She looks at Kai and saw a empty seat beside him. She shook her head and points next to the two other empty seats that was next beside his seat. "You can sit on one of those empty seats behind the back row." I nod and sat on the right seat because it was the farthest one from Kai. Mr.Lee started the lesson.
A girl in front of me turned around and whispered. "Annyeong! My name is Choi Mi-Yun!" She smiled brightly at me and held out her hand for me to shake. I smiled back and shook her hand. "You are new here so you shouldn't have friends here. Let's be fri.. Ouch!"
Ms. Lee threw a chalk at her head. She rubs her head. The students laughed. "Mi-yun! Now don't you make her go to detention on her first day."
"Sorry." She mumbled and turned around and focused on the teacher. At last the bell ringed. "Do you want to have lunch with me?" Mi-yun said.
"Sure! I don't know anyone here so thanks for asking."
She wraps her arm around mine. "Lets go." We walked out and got shoved into the crowd. What the heck? I already lost Mi-yun.
Girls starts screaming and taking a picture. "It is Kai and Taemin!!!" I looked at where the girls was looking at.
Someone pulled me away from the crowd. "Whew! Next time walk faster whenever there is a crowd because you are going to get crushed." She made crushing sounds.
Mi-yun hands me a tray. "Thanks. Oh. Why? And why are the girls acting like that?"
"Didn't you see those girls? They were about to crush you! They are acting like that because of Kai and Taemin. They are the most popular guys in our school. And plus they are friends." She set her tray down and sat down. Popular? She put her hands on her heart and sighed. "They are so handsome..." she suddenly goes into her own dream world.
I laughed at her and shook my head. "What's so funny?" She came back to reality.
"Many girls must throw themselves at them a lot since they are called "the most popular guys in this school." To me I think they just look average," I shrugged. "
She cupped my mouth with both of her hands. "Shhh! You can't say that!"
I tried talking. "Why pft n.. pft not?" It didn't sound like I was talking at all. Instead I sounded like I was trying to spit things out of my mouth. I pulled her hands away from my mouth. I licked my lips. Eww salty. "Why not?"
"You just can't. Many girls are obsessed with those two. They would do anything to get Kai and Taemin to notice them. You are lucky there was no one here. If those girls were here you would've become the school's outcast or the bullies's toy."
"Wow.. That serious?" She nods.
"I'll be back. I need to use the bathroom."
"Okay." I waited for 10-15min. What is taking her so long? I walked to the bathroom. There was a bunch of people crowding around that girl's bathroom. What are they doing? I heard Mi-yun's screamed. I ran inside. Pushing through those people that were just standing there. "Mi-yun!"
