His shoulders brushed mine as he walked past by me not even glancing at me once.
I guess it's really over between us? But isn't this what I wanted? We weren't really dating but hearing the words breaking up with Kai hurts.
Something slipped out of my finger effortlessly down onto the ground. The ring.. I crouched to grab it but someone beat me to it.
"I guess it's over?" Jiwoo lay against the lockers and had her arms crossed. "That means that there is no meaning for this ring anymore right?" She said as she tossed back and forth in the air.
"Give it back!" I snatched it from her hand sliding it back on my finger.
"Ooh. Someone's grouchy today." She smirked.
I rolled my eye and went inside the classroom. I'm just gonna ignore everyone. I'm not going to listen to anyone one of them. I tossed my bag onto my desk and put my head on it as a pillow.
Brinnggg!
"Good morning class!" Mrs. Lee said in English. "Today we are going to open our books to page 73."
I yawned and took out my book and turned it to the exact page. I placed my head on the book and closed my eyes.
"Hurry! Hurry! Run run run!" All I could hear was people shouting and guns and bombs firing.
I stare at the soldiers that were in a camouflage uniform. They were scattering away. Staring up ahead of me was a big tank. Before I knew it a big bomb was shot straight towards me.
"Get out of the way!" I heard someone shout. "Run away! What are you doing?!"
I stare at that man in confusion.
"Sadya.." The bomb that was getting closer was speaking to me!
"Mm?" I muttered.
"Sadya.. Sadya..! Sadya!"
BOOMMM!
My head jerked up instantly. "Huh? Hmm? What?" Everyone was staring at me, including Kai. He had a smirk plastered on his face.
"I said can you please spell the word 'elucidate'."
"E-L-U-C-I-D-A-T-E."
"Define it."
"To make something clear."
She raised one of her eyebrows. "Very good." She picked up her book from my desk.
"Thank you." Phew..
She went back to her teaching so I went back to sleeping.
"Everyone! Face front!"
I turned front and looked to my left than right.
"You there! Stand still!" The man shouted sounded with authority.
"Yes sir!" I saluted.
"What do you think you're doing?!"
"Just browsing sir!"
"Do you think this is a computer where you can just browse around?!"
"No sir!" I said, trying my best not to smile.
"You think this is funny?!"
"No sir!" I grinned even more. I couldn't stop grinning!
"Then stop grinning like a goofball!"
"Sir I cannot!" I said.
The man threw a punch at me but before he could hit me a loud sound woke me up.
BOOMMM!
"Yes sir?!" I stood up and salute. Right in front of me stood Mrs. Lee with her hands by her waist with a disapproving look. "No I mean yes ma'am?!" The classroom filled with laughter. I dropped my right hand and slapped my hand, cursing myself. How could you call Mrs. Lee 'sir' and make a fool out of yourself?!
"Spell 'tendentious'!"
"Tendentious! T-E-N-D-E-N-T-I-O-U-S! Ten-den-tious!," I said the syllables while clapping 3 times. "Adjective! Advancing a definite point of view!" I said very quickly.
"Very good. Perhaps you should sleep earlier from now on!" She tapped her ruler on my desk. "Stay awake!"
"Yes sir! I mean yes ma'am!"
The classroom burst out laughing again but louder. I covered my face from embarrassment as I sat back down feeling like a goofball. I turned to my left and saw Kai resting on his desk.
She only noticed me except for Kai! Immediately I raised my hand.
Mrs. Lee sighed. "Yes Sadya?"
I pointed at Kai. Maybe a little payback won't hurt at all after what he did. Or what he didn't do as a boyfriend should do, I should say...
