Dana's POV

Naalimpungatan ako dahil sa kirot na naramdaman ko sa may bahaging likod, at masakit na lalamunan. Nilibot ko ang aking paningin, na medyo nag-aadjust pa, sa lugar na kinaroroonan ko. Isa itong kuwebang puno ng nagkikislapang diyamante. Paano ako naparito?

"Mabuti nagising ka na." Nagulat ako sa kaniya ngunit mas nagulat ako sa anyo niya.

"Sino ka? Bakit ka ganiyan? Anong klaseng nilalang ka? Paano ako naparito?" sunod-sunod kong pagtatanong sa kaniya. Kakaiba kasi siya. Kulay blue ang balat, dark blue ang buhok na abot bewang, at aqua blue na mga mata, pero over all, she's pretty. Hindi halatang blue ang favorite color niya. 'Di talaga, promise.

Natawa siya sa'kin at napangiti. "I'm Perlissia, keeper of the Blue Gem. I'm the one who saved you from death. And you," nagulat ako dahil parang kilalang kilala niya ako "You are the chosen bearer of the Blue Gem. I'm here to help you heal and train you how to open its heart."

Grabe, kaka-nose bleed si Perlissia. Pero ano daw? Bearer?

"Why me? I'm just a simple ordinary girl and I don't have the guts to do that." Sabi ko sa kaniya. Oh ha! Sino nagsabing 'di ko kayang makipagsabayan ng english ki Perlissia, tutoktukan ko!

Ngunit ngiti lang ang isinukli niya sa akin. She's very mysterious like the Mysterious falls.

"Wait a minute, kapeng mainit! You are the reason why I am here. You are the reason why I fall from that zip line. Everything happened for a reason. Right?"

"Yes, you're right. Here, drink this." Binigay niya sa akin ang isang kopitang gawa sa mga nagkikislapang bato, at nang silipin ko ang laman nito, parang normal na tubig lang naman ito pero may bluish fire sa bandang dulo. "And eat this, you must be famished." Binigyan niya ako ng parang doughnut or something na pagkain. Ininom ko na 'tong binigay niya sa akin at kainain ko na rin 'tong doughnut. In fairness, very refreshing yung tubig, and very delicious yung doughnut. Saan kaya niya ito nabili?

"That will heal you. After that, we'll start the training."

Naramdaman ko na unti-unting humihilom ang aking mga sugat at sakit ng katawan.

"How about my family?"

"No, your mission is to complete the 6 element bearers, and together, you will fight Darkness that will come. You are one of the elements, and the other elements are fire, earth, light, water, and air. You need to take this seriously because this isn't ordinary bad guys that you'll go to fight. They are evil and mind manipulators. If you can't defeat them, the world you know will come to an end."

"Why are all these things happening? I thought it was all just in a book. How do these things happen in the first place?" Curious lang talaga ako. I mean why would someone bring an end to this world? Paano sila nagkaroon ng powers?

"It all started when the King Sylvestro, of Ice Kingdom, they can summon ice, had arranged married his daughter to the Prince of Air Kingdom, for he thought that that would make the two clan stronger. But little did he know that his daughter is pregnant, and the father is part of a Flemwall from the Fire Kingdom, their secret rival. The King got angry at his daughter and banned her to the palace. The Prince of Air Kingdom got ballistic and put the two clans bond to an end. The Earth and the Light Kingdom heard the news and took sides. Then an answer to this feud literary fell from above, the 6 Gems. 

The Kingdoms got to an agreement that they will took care of the gems based from their abilities. They get along for some years because the gems gave them this indescribable solemnity deep inside their hearts. But the banned Princess of Ice Kingdom, the baby, and its father was never found. Alongside the gems are the keepers. These keepers will be the trainers of the chosen bearers. As the 5 gems are being passed by generation to generation, no one had ever used the Blue Gem or the Water Gem for no one can control it. The gems had taken the Kingdoms out of their feuds. But as time passes by, some servants' rebel against their kingdom because of greed for power. With this, a great war came led by the enemy of these 6 Gems, the Darkness. It roused from its cage after gaining the strength from those rebels. 

The Darkness destroyed the 5 kingdoms. It's inevitable. The former bearers died because they can't defeat Darkness. They can't fight alongside each other. The keepers, with the 6 gems, were never found after the great war. I'm one of the keepers. The gems are the ones who chose the rightful bearers. You are one of those rightful bearers. The Blue Gem saw something in you that assure her that you have the capacity to defeat Darkness and bring back the harmonious life of the humans."

"What do you mean 'bring back the harmonious life of the humans'? I don't see anything not harmonious in our daily living. Yes, there might be some wars and fighting's between countries, or there might be cases that include the bad guys, but that doesn't necessary means that there is Darkness. I don't really get you. What does the history about the gems do to humans?"

"According to my investigations, there are a lot of missing people lately, and some of them are minors. I contacted the other keepers and let them know about this. One of them had a glimpse of what is to happen and there she saw that Darkness is creating his own army to end the world, to end the bearers, and for him to control and rule the new world all by himself."

"Wait, what is this new world?" Anong pinagsasabi niyang new world? Nakakakilabot na ang mga pinagsasabi ni Perlissia ah.

"The new world or the Everia is a world of evil creatures that will destroy other planets, other galaxies. They will destroy everyone. And Darkness will lead them."

Is she serious? Grabe, nakakatakot 'tong pinasukan ko. Kung panaginip ito, gusto ko na magising.

"And one last thing, you are supposed to have a new name, right?" she asked, then I nodded at her."Aqua Rohan."

"What?"

"Your name will be Aqua Rohan from now on."
