Aqua's POV

"Yum! What's this? The way it looks, just screams 'I'm yummy, you need to eat me'" I said as I gaze at the food on our table.

"Oh that's a cake." Brae said chuckling.

"What's funny?" I said innocently.

"Nothing. It's just the way your eyes sparkle at the food is priceless. It's like you haven't eat for an age."

Oh I forgot the way cake looks like. The 2 week training me and Perlissia had, was like 2 years of training and fasting. We never really ate anything besides the doughnut thingy and the water with blue fire at the pit. I wonder how I survive the longest weeks of my life.

"Sorry. Don't mind me. I'm just hungry." Then I started digging the cake first, and then the other food Brae bought.

All I can say is that these foods are heaven, and his supper kind. He didn't even let me pay for these foods. Well, I hope we can be friends.

Brae's POV

Wow! This girl's appetite knocks me out, but I found it cute. I wanted to ask her name but she looks like she doesn't want to be disturbed. She eats unladylike but it seems like she doesn't really care at all, that makes me found her amusing. She's very pretty.

"Uhm, chen shu pash sha washer?" she said, mouth full of food.

"Hmmm?" what is she talking about?

"Washer?!" she said then point the water beside me.

"Oh, sorry. Here you go."

The way she gulp the water, something inside me stirs. I don't know why and what, but all I know is that – this girl in front of me needs to be protected, but I can't fall for her. I must not.

Aqua's POV

After Brae treats me at the Restaurant, I asked him if he could tell me where to exchange 1 bar of my gold to a bill. He agreed, and then we went to a pawnshop and I can tell that the people there are really looking at me maybe because of my soaked up dress and they think I really look like a crazy beggar, and then when the transaction was finished, he insisted to walk me until at the apartment. Did I already mention that he's kind?

"Thanks a lot Brae, I really am full. Next time, I will be the one who'll treat you." I said smilingly.

We are now in front of my room.

"No problem. And I'm expecting for that treat." He said then winks at me.

"Oh, don't expect too much!" I said laughing.

I was ready to go inside when he catch my arm. "Uhm, may I know your name? You know we talk, we talk the whole morning yet I don't know your name. So you are?"

I laughed again. Yeah, I realized we were talking since I got here in New York and yet I didn't get to mention my name to him. "Aqua. My name is Aqua Rohan." He let go of my arm and I said, "So now we know each other, can we be friends? I'm a good acquaintance!"

"Sure. Friends!" he said. I bid him 'good bye' then he left and I enter my room.

This is a tiring day. Oh wait, before I sleep, I must buy some new clothes. Ugh, I know I stink already.

I jump out of bed then went to the nearest Department Store. I entered Forever 21 and bought 2 pairs of new pants, 2 pairs of shorts, 5 t-shirts, and a pair of shoes. I guess this will be enough for now.

After I paid the clothes, I head directly in my apartment and took a long bath.

"This is refreshing!" I murmured to myself. I hope things will be just like this everyday. Nothing to worry... yet.
