The Big Day

"Sharon..?"

A woman in her late 40s called out her daughter's name who was staring into the mirror deep in her thoughts.

"Sharon!"

"n-ne? "

"It's about time hunny"

"Ne. You go ahead first ... i'll be right there"

Mina have never thought this day would come this fast. She is getting married...but to a guy who is not in love with her. She did this for her mom . Her mom is getting older each day and she didn't want to disappoint her in any way.

BUT its just ... The words Jimin said to her really hurt her feelings.

~Flashback~

"This is just for a short time. When my mom's condition gets better, I'll file a divorce. You and i are not compatible remember that . Don't ever fall in love with me...cause it will only lead you to a heartbreak ."

And with that he left

Here she is , walking down the aisle with tears in her eyes. She don't want this. This is not how she predicted her big day to look like.

"You may now kiss the bride"

And there it goes, her first kiss.

"Thankyou ! Thankyou for coming" Mina bowed to the guest that were leaving.

She looked around searching for her so called "husband". But he was nowhere to be seen.

"Mina darling.. looking for Jimin?"

"Ne Mrs Park.."

"Omma...call me omma from now onwards" The smile she gave was soo warm that Mina felt soo comfortable being around her.

'Mrs Park is soo kind. What happen to her son tsk tsk tsk'

"Arraseo omma" Mina smiled .

"Jimin is with his friends at the backyard. Go see him! Go go" Mrs Park pushed Mina gently .

'Where is he Aish'

Mina's pov

I was walking down the hallway when suddenly the laughter of guys were heard. That should be them.

I walked to the backyard when suddenly all went quiet. Jimin who was smiling before now had a serious look plastered on his face.

"What do you want?" Jimin asked coldly.

"Ayee don't be harsh to her Jimin ah~. Come join us Mina ssi" Said one of his friend... I dont know his name.

"Hoseok hyung .."

"Come on Jimin.. It's your wedding day and you are being soo harsh"

"Ani It's okay.. I just wanted to stop by .. The guest are searching for you" I said before leaving.

Wow he is super harsh. Too harsh i don't even know till how long I can take it.

The ceremony went by fast since we only invited important people.

"Wait here let me go get my clothes" I said to Jimin who was now sitting on the sofa in my house . He didn't even bothered answering me .. too busy with his phone.

I went up to my room and brought down the luggage .

"Im ready to go" I said to him . He stood up and bowed to my parents. I wont lie he looks cute wearing black hoodie . Boyfriend material you know what im saying. But in this case its "hubby material"

I hugged my mom.

"Don't be naughty okay baby? You are a married woman now. No more sulking, whining anymore. And remember what i said.."

"...Don't create problem with your husband and his family" Both mom and me said in unison.

"I know mom you told me the same thing ever since morning. Im getting tired of it already" I said pretending to yawn making my mom chuckle.

"Jimin ah~ Please.. please take care of my one and only daughter.. my precious girl. She mean the world to me and i don't want to see her sad. Making her sad will also mean making me sad too arrasso?" My mom said ruffling his hair. Surprisingly he took her hands in his and said,

"Don't worry omma.. I promise i will take good care of Mina"

I scoffed at his sentence. He sure is a good actor.

"We'll get going. Annyeong" Both of us bowed before getting into the car. Jimin drove off and that's when i saw the look in my mom's eyes.. She was crying.

The whole ride was silent. Non of us wanted to start a topic.

"You know.. you should not have said those words just now. You just made a promise to my mom knowing the fact that it wont happen" I took all my courage to say those to him.

"Promises are meant to be broken" That was all he said. I swear he is just rude. How could someone be soo ignorant. I folded my arms and looked outside the window.. Not wanting to look at him anymore. The more i look at him, The more i will feel angry and upset.
