Chapter 2- Changes

Emily and I (Eva) spend most of our time together, she is literally like my sister... I swear my mum loves her more than me haha! We have our close friends like Georgia Rachael and Annie but nothing will compare to mine and Emily's relationship. We live in one another's houses and our family's are super close. Yesterday was the last day of school and we have kinda planned our whole summer together, we really want to go on some trips, maybe a girl holiday and actually make this one to remember. We are both 17 now so our parents give us enough freedom as they know we are responsible.

*my house*

"OH MY GOODNESS EVA YOU SERIOUSLY HAVE TO COME HERE NOW" I swear to god I thought Emily was dying when she screamed this from downstairs. I don't think I have even ran so fast down the stairs in my life. When I eventually got to the living room I saw her jumping on the sofa... She was fine.

"What the hell is going on" I stood there and stared at her in astonishment.

"YOU HAVE TO LISTEN TO THIS OMG" before I know it Emily was practically on top of my sticking her ear phones into my ears.

I could barely hear the song as she was screaming the lyrics on top of her lungs prancing around the living room and kitchen. Shawn Mendes, I should have knows she was listening to him from her reaction. Emily has been a fan of Shawn now for quite some time and has been watching him on YouTube since he started with his covers.

"Ahhhh his new song is out" I could barely get my words out because I was laughing so hard at how ridiculous Emily looks.

"WE DONT HAVE TO BE ORDINARY, MAKE YOUR BEST MISTAKES, CAUSE WE DONT HAVE THE TIME TO BE SORRY, SO BABY BE THE LIFE OF THE PARTY.." I could tell that she was going to be screaming this for quite some time now so I went back upstairs and watched some more Gossip Girl.

After an hour and a half, I went back downstairs for find Emily on the sofa snoring super loud. Shawn Mendes 'Life of the party' was on repeat still playing from her headphones so I decided to listen to it. I've heard a couple of his covers and he is so talented. I don't spend much time on YouTube watching other people because I spend most of my time either doing homework or dancing. Where as Emily loves looking at what other people upload.

It was around 7pm now and Emily finally woke up after like 3 hours of sleeping.

"Oh hi, how long was I sleeping for, where my phone, what time is it."

"Ok well you've been sleeping for about 3 hours, you're phones on the left cabinet, it's 7pm and you really have to stop asking so many questions" i said while attempting to make some pasta. It wasn't going to well.

I've never really been able to cook anything. Apart from toast and the odd microwave packages.

"You really need to learn how to cook, you would be a terrible house wife" Emily said was giggling.

Finally my mom came home and saw what a state I made the kitchen so she took over while me and Emily went to the store around the corner to pick up a couple of things my mom needed. As soon as we got to the store we were stopped by 3 girls that looked around the age of 11.

"Oh my gosh are you Eva Danes and Emily Oniell, we listen to your covers all the time and your song is our ring tone. We love you omg please could we have a picture and your autograph?!?!?" One of the girls squealed.

"Hahaha yes we are Emily and Eva and of course you can have a picture and our autographs. You guys are so sweet." Emily said while waving to a complete stranger.

"Hey could you take a picture of us please" Emily said to a young man. "Yeah sure".

We after we took a photo, followed them on twitter and had given them our autograph we went into he store and got the groceries my mom needed.
